    Just stopped heating one day…

    Bought in Spring 2022 and it has already stopped working. No warning, no misuse, just stopped heating unexpectedly one day in January 2025.

    fire hazard

    You have to push hard on the buttons sometimes 2 or 3 times to get them to work. Also when you touch the door a certain way the microwave STARTS on its own and pushing the STOP button does not shut it off. You have to open the door or unplug it. That is very dangerous. Took it back for a refund.

    Poor desing - Dark control panel

    Just had this unit installed today. It is louder than the GE model I had prior to this. Loud enough that I find it annoying if you are sitting in the kitchen and talking to others. The biggest problem is that the control panel does not light up except for the clock. I cannot see the numbers and have to use a flashlight in order to see the numbers and commands on the panel. This is inconvenient and not practical at all. Heats up well. Finger Resistant feature is nice.

    Heating stopped

    Stopped heating only after 3.5yrs. Other than that it was great. So just beware this may not last long and only has a 1yr warranty, probably for a reason.

    Look for another option

    Hate this microwave. I have had it for 5 months now. I wish I could get my old one back. I can’t use the timer and any of the cooking options at the same time. When using the fan and want to use the microwave’s cooking features, the fan power cuts down. When we ordered it and had it installed it arrived with dents across the top of the door. Best Buy replaced it, and the replacement one was also dented but not as bad. Again, a replacement was offered but we were afraid that the next one would be worse. Plus the time off of work to be home for another home install wasn’t an option. At that point Best Buy offered a slight refund in the form of a Best Buy gift card and credit on my credit card would have been better but whatever. This microwave must have been designed by someone who doesn’t cook. I do not recommend it, if you are a multitasker.

    Randomly worked out of the box

    Randomly worked out of the box. Clock would work and wouldn’t heat when started. Timer wouldn’t count down when it wouldn’t heat. Seems to be working now and has been for about a week. Hopefully will last but unsure if it will. Was able to get a service call easily with a local repair shop but canceled because it’s working right now. Works well when working

    Venting fan works on its own

    After two years of using it, the ventilation fan works on its own whenever the weather is hot outside (I am in Arizona). I tried to search the issue and cleaned it very well from outside and also from inside for any residual grace but the problem still on going!

    Bad design

    We bought this product 5 yrs ago. Last month the inside hook just broke which made it impossible to close the door. The microwave works fine but the hook is made of plastic. There is no release button on the microwave to disengage the hook so you have no choice but to pull hard to open, which eventually broke the cheap plastic. 5 yrs is way too less for a microwave to last.

    Do not buy this!

    I bought this in August 20 20. The latches that secure the door to the microwave. When you close it broke the spring is broken cheap plastic spring. The door will not close you would have to sit there and push it close stand there while the microwave is running. Also, The mechanism that rotates the plate broke and burnt up. This product is horrible. I would highly not recommend anybody buying this. Cheaply made garbage!

    Disappointed

    Looks great but it trips the breaker frequrently. Its on a deficated breaker so that shouldn’t happen. Best buy replaced it and it still trips the breaker. I even had an electrician come in and check out my electrical. He gave it his seal of approval. Have a new GE coming next week. Samsung makes great TVs and phones. They should stick with what they’re good at.

    Microwave

    Junk! My husband and I did all the work of installing the new microwave, tried to heat a pot pie the following day. Once done, the microwave was extremely hot, and the pot pie still frozen! I wish I had listened to a friend that said "Don't buy a Samsung." However, Best Buy did a return with no hassle! Kudos to them! Not so much for Samsung!

    Broke after 18 months.

    This unit didnt even last two years. Samsung warranty is only one year. They wanted $300 to repair a $300 unit. Huge disappointment. Wouldn't buy another samsung appkiance.

    Had the Samsung ME19R7041FS for a year and a half and it stopped heating up. I had a tech come out and he said it needs a new mother board and magnatron. It will cost $400. I only paid $265 for the microwave brand new. This only has a 1 yr MFG warranty. I would not recommend any Samsung products ever.

    Bought 5/11, broke 6/8. Store won't exchange because of 15 day warranty. Was never offered an extended warranty. Would not of bought from best buy if I would of known this. I will never shop here again. Check your warranty before buying people....0 rating...
