    Randomly worked out of the box. Clock would work and wouldn’t heat when started. Timer wouldn’t count down when it wouldn’t heat. Seems to be working now and has been for about a week. Hopefully will last but unsure if it will. Was able to get a service call easily with a local repair shop but canceled because it’s working right now. Works well when working

    Broken Door Latch

    Have had this microwave for just over a year and the latch the spring attaches to broke. Not the $14 replaceable latch, had to replace the entire door for $170 because the spring was attached to a piece of plastic in the door

    We purchased this Samsung microwave as a replacement for our old one. Overall it does everything you would expect a microwave to do. The only issue we have with it, is to very loud. Our old one was much quieter.

    Bad Samsung Product

    I have had to replace this microwave twice in 3 years due to the handle popping off! The first time I had the Geek Squad and they replaced it for free but couldn’t afford to keep up a 200 dollar membership for what ifs! This second time, the 1 year warranty had expired. Now I have to pop the microwave open with a butter knife to use it! Don’t get me started on the Samsung refrigerator, I can’t even have the water dispenser on because it will drip randomly and leave puddles on my floor from Day 1! However, when I bought in 2021 there were limited appliances in my area.

    We bought this product 5 yrs ago. Last month the inside hook just broke which made it impossible to close the door. The microwave works fine but the hook is made of plastic. There is no release button on the microwave to disengage the hook so you have no choice but to pull hard to open, which eventually broke the cheap plastic. 5 yrs is way too less for a microwave to last.

    I bought this in August 20 20. The latches that secure the door to the microwave. When you close it broke the spring is broken cheap plastic spring. The door will not close you would have to sit there and push it close stand there while the microwave is running. Also, The mechanism that rotates the plate broke and burnt up. This product is horrible. I would highly not recommend anybody buying this. Cheaply made garbage!

    Just stopped heating one day…

    Bought in Spring 2022 and it has already stopped working. No warning, no misuse, just stopped heating unexpectedly one day in January 2025.

    Heating stopped

    Stopped heating only after 3.5yrs. Other than that it was great. So just beware this may not last long and only has a 1yr warranty, probably for a reason.

    Hate this microwave. I have had it for 5 months now. I wish I could get my old one back. I can’t use the timer and any of the cooking options at the same time. When using the fan and want to use the microwave’s cooking features, the fan power cuts down. When we ordered it and had it installed it arrived with dents across the top of the door. Best Buy replaced it, and the replacement one was also dented but not as bad. Again, a replacement was offered but we were afraid that the next one would be worse. Plus the time off of work to be home for another home install wasn’t an option. At that point Best Buy offered a slight refund in the form of a Best Buy gift card and credit on my credit card would have been better but whatever. This microwave must have been designed by someone who doesn’t cook. I do not recommend it, if you are a multitasker.
