    The quality is not good. The outer case (top) is flexible plastic and does not conform to body. The light panel is black and you cannot see it or the numbers without light.

    Do not buy this microwave. The first time I purchased this product there was a issue with it turning on by itself. I went through the VERY lengthy and difficult process of having Samsung replace it. I am a builder and do approximately 6 kitchens a year. I decided to give them another shot and just I stalled the same product in a different new construction. SAME PROBLEM. Now since Samsung very strangely doesn’t have any repair technicians within 100 miles (I’m 60 miles from Philadelphia) I’ve got to take this off the newly tiled wall and replace it. Never ever again.

      The experience is not what we expect from our customers.

      The microwave control panel does not respond
      If the microwave has power, but will not respond to any commands or only certain buttons work, clean the control panel and try a power cycle. If the panel still doesn't respond, service is required.

      The microwave turns on by itself
      If your microwave turns on by itself after you close the door you may need to clean the door, check the latch, or ensure that the door is closed all the way. But if your cooktop lamp will not turn off, then it may just be wet from recent cooking. Follow this guide to get things back to normal.

    This microwave is nice looking but it runs loud. We only use for warm ups so I can't comment on temp controls.

    Do Not Buy This Model-Major Flaw.

    Deserves zero stars. I always read reviews but I rarely take the time to post one but I had to for this. I had an electrician install it before I realized that it was defective. The fan turns on when the door is closed. Also while warming food, the fan is going which made think it was working but food was as still cold. I now have to pay again for it to be taken down. Spend time returning it to the store, then pay again to have another brand installed. I will never purchase anything by Samsung again. Other reviews state that they had the same problem. I have wasted valuable time & money with this purchase.

    The fan is to loud even on low and the dash dies not light up so if its dark you have to turn on a light to see what your doing. Would not recommend to anyone

    It looks good and the space is big inside. but it is not heating as much as I expected even in high power and taking longer to heat everything.

    15 months later it blew up

    I love Samsung. But I got a lemon of a microwave. Within the 1st 6 months both ligt bulbs went out. I dont use them much so it was a surprise. But for it the start sparking and burning from the turn table is unacceptable. Very disappointed in the quantity of this one. Make sure you buy Samsung loyalty and get that extended warranty.

      The term "arcing" refers to sparks inside the microwave oven. These sparks are caused when microwaves react to gold paint on dishes, twist ties, and other metallic materials, like aluminum foil. Usually, removing these kinds of objects will fix the problem.

    First I had one delivered. It worked for 3 days and then it started running when door closed, no cool time set, couldn’t stop it from cooking. Unplugged, tried again. Still problem. Just ram cooking whenever door closed. I returned it and then bought and picked up same model at a different location. Installed new one today, and after opening the door 4 times, the handle broke. I’m addition this is the same model, but different filter configuration, and different hole pattern for mounting it. So my cabinet now looks like Swiss cheese and I still don’t have a working microwave. Very unhappy.

    it's two weeks old and it broke this morning. Goes to start and then shuts off. Display goes off. Like power got shut off but the power is good. Display comes back on in a few minutes but same thing happens if I try to start it. My last microwave lasted nearly 20 years with no problems. Looks good and worked well for as long as it worked anyway.

    Just Say NO to Samsung Appliances

    Bought this microwave and had it professionally installed by Best Buy. It's now broken. 4 months. I've never had a microwave break except for the one that this one replaced (the old one worked for 10 years without issues). I purchased this, along with the Samsung dual oven stove. Would not recommend or buy either again. Worst appliances I've ever had!! I love their TVs. (I had heard bad things about Samsung appliance reliability - but it go great ratings for the quality of the black stainless.) :-(

    Even though I did my research, appliances these days are such a crapshoot! I thought I was making a good, educated decision - even once you narrow it down, there are always tons of great reviews and those couple of scary "stay away" ones... This is a STAY AWAY one. Liked the performance of this micro, heated great. 14 months in and one big POP - there goes the magnetron! Now it's just a useless piece of metal junk! Barely 30 days out of the warranty period!! Beyond furious - now I have to spin the microwave roulette wheel for a replacement, but will NOT be replacing with a samsung!
