I am mainly impressed with this microwave, I like Samsung products they are reliable and have yet to have a bad product from them. This microwave is nice because it seems to cook your food evenly even though it seems to take a little longer than our old LG which had the same wattage but higher price tag. The only thing I wish it would have is an instant start when you push the "Add 30 Second" button instead you have to push start after that to get it going I just got spoiled by my last microwave. Best Buy was the only big chain to have it in white which is odd since white is still the basic color for microwaves.

We recently decided to upgrade our kitchen appliances to stainless steel. After doing tons of research (websites, consumer reports, etc.) we decided that most of the appliances would be Samsung. This microwave works wonderfully! My only criticism is that it doesn't have a second rack for heating 2 plates at one time. That's a minor annoyance that is more than offset by this beautiful, affordable and functional OTR microwave.I love the venting capacity and we leave the light on at night to illuminate the way to our Samsung refrigerator's through the door ice/water dispenser. It has very simple functionality and is well thought out.

perfect except for lack of instant 1 - 6 mins cook options.as is, one needs to pump in times and cook levels. On another point, all those programmed options are insulting, dumb and/or wasteful. i have in mind buttons like didcated ones for, say, "pizza." Cooked or raw? (It never says) Further, people are not that dumb that they cannot figure out what time/cook settings work for different stuff. why not use the technology for something really innovative? Not sure what, but right now, the preset-dedicated buttons are offensive

We needed a smaller microwave to go above stove. This was easy to install and the settings choices are wonderful. Easy for the kids to work with allot of other options. Has a setting to keep plates warm which works great for kids coming and going to practices and jobs.

I love this microwave. It's easy to use, and was very easy to get installed. Came with a very intuitive, step-by-step manual and instructions. Highly recommended!

I love this microwave. It is a great addition to my kitchen. It works greats. has great features that actually work. and tells you even what buttons to press. for example it has a melt butter function that walks you through what to press and then actually melts your butter! or defrosts food! The fan over the range works, the light under the microwave works, but is a little dim. A great feature it has a timer for the light so you can program it to be on when you get home late at night or stay on at night as a night light. Great buy!

I've been using this microwave for a week. We installed it in 30 mins. easity. Heats quickly. I drink single cup coffee and my last microwave was 3 mins. to heat. After 1 1/2 mins my water is boiling over. Much quieter than my last microwave. I like that you can turn off the turntable. Wish you could hit the 30 second button or popcorn and it starts but you have to hit start also. Spacious inside. Clock is easy to set. I only use the microwave for light cooking like popcorn, hot dogs or reheating. Sensor works because I use popcorn mini bags and it didn't burn like my previous microwave when I hit "popcorn". Cooked 95% of the bag which was impressive to me. Last microwave I had to play with the time like start at 2 mins and add 30 seconds to make sure all of my bag cooked without burning.When I put this bag back in to test it after 8 seconds the microwave shut off and I started to smell the burn of the corn. I like the solid frame but wish the door was easier to open. I have to give it a good tug to open which might be good but I feel like I am going to break the handle like my past 3 microwaves. Overall I am happy with my purchase. Got it on sale & open item used my rz points which made this a fantastic deal and well below my budget.

Works well after two months. No complaints. Wanted a no nonsense unit that takes directions well. So far, so good.

This replacement over-the-range unit is much quieter than my previous microwave. The controls are similar but the Samsung has some sensor cooking and short cut keys that are very nice to use. Loving this unit so far!

I like the look, the quality and the price. This one we installed in our Florida Condo. Be bought the same model for our home about 2 years ago and paid the same price. That one is still working great.

Works great and as promised. Good size, fits most foods just fine. Sensor works marvelously for reheating. Simple to learn while still full feature. Timer on the stove light and multi-speed fan are nice features. Have owned for a month and so far am very satisfied.

I just replaced a GE under the range microwave with this new Samsung and couldn't be more pleased with it. I'm not a fan of GE appliances anymore as we've had to replace 2 of the 5 within 6 years, hoping this Samsung will go the distance for us. It runs quite and has all the features you need to have on and microwave, without the stuff that you don't need and will cause additional future issues. We've never had a micro with a middle shelf, but it has turned out to be a very good thing, and when you have larger items, simply remove it. I believe the 4 speed exhaust fan is the best I've ever seen on a Microwave! Nice unit for the $$$

So far its a great microwave for the money...very large turntable so plenty of room for the plate...love the settings, very easy and simple. The loud beeper is awesome...i can be somewhere else in the house and still hear it when it goes off. My only complaints are that the fans are towards the back of the microwave and since i usually use the front burner some condensation gets on the front of the micro ...my only other complaint is that the door is a little hard to shut and open. This didn't effect my rating though because overall its very worth the price.

I bought this microwave to replace a GE where the magnetron had gone out for the second time. Not wanting another GE since they are prone to magnetron problems and I researched an liked this model. Good set of features for the price. Clean looking. The 3 star rating is based on the lack of convenience features. Microwaves are suppose to be quick and this model does not have one touch start for cooking. Example, you have to type 1-0-0 in instead of just pushing the 1 to start 1 minute. This is a hassle for everyday use. Also, I wanted to use the Eco button, but the feature resets every time instead of defaulting as the normal. What a pain! Deal breakers? No, but annoying for a device created to save time. I do like the look of the microwave, the venting, and not that microwaves are loud, but this one is really quiet win its cooking.

Bought to replace a whirlpool that died in 3 years. Seems ok so far, it was slightly smaller than the old one, but has the same features as the whirlpool. seems a little more quiter too.. the range light isn't as bright on the whirlpool, but none the less it is enough to accent the stove at night. the turntable seems a little slower than the old one and the operation is backward from the old one too... But it cooks through the food.. seems to defrost a lb of meat thoughout.. so I would say it's a does what it says and at the price it's reasonable.

This microwave is much quiter than my old unit was, but the digital read out is too small to read across the kitchen.

purchased to replace our original that only lasted 5 yrs(not samsung). This unit was inexpensive, lots of options, easy install, good power. The turntable is recessed so the interior is flat. The turntable can be turn off. Great buy!

I like the looks and cooking of this oven. From my previous model I miss the one touch features for heating beverages and heating for 1 or 2 minutes. Old GE you'd just touch 1 and it would go for 1 minute. this one you have to hit 1,0,0 and then start. Beverage you have to touch COOK, then one, then start. Just not as quick when you're in a hurry. Like the 2 level light. Also like that I can turn off the turntable since I have oversize dishes and casseroles.

Our first over the range microwave. Easy to install and use. Frees up alot of counterspace for other items.

I had ordered the all white but was pleasantly surprised to receive a unit with a black frame around the window...making for an interesting and attractive design. Couldn't be more pleased. There are some minor concerns but they would not have affected my purchase. My concerns are: Small display...hard to read at a distance; Dim cook top light; Start button should be highlighted. Everything else is very functional...great sensor cooking. I purchased it during a two day sale and also bought the 5 year protection plan ($57.00). Would strongly recommend for its value, functionality and design.
