Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was happy with this microwave for 2 1/2 years, but recently the paint had chipped off in the carousel area and it's showing the metal inside which is unsafe to use (a rare manufacturer defect). We had no warranty left and had reached out to Samsung. Hopefully our new microwave (a different one by Samsung) is a better product and last a long time otherwise I will have to break up my Samsung appliance set and go with another brand

Door broke ~2 years into ownership
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.It was a nice microwave that was not used much. Recently, the door broke ~2 years into ownership. The latch works by a plastic sliding "latch assembly" attaching to the door frame by a small plastic tab molded into the inside of the microwave door frame. That small plastic tab in the door frame broke on my microwave and a replacement door assembly costs as much as a new microwave. Samsung refuses to offer any sort of warranty replacement...save your money and shop for something more well built.

Would be nice if the light over the stove could be set to turn on at a certain time of day. If yiu have no outlet for the fan, be sure to rotate the blower before installing.

Other than that it’s easy to install and use.

I found this one on here, which was my first choice. It came sooner than expected, with no damage, which I was concerned about. It is a beautiful appliance and I am very happy with it!
