Replacement of 9 year old model

Replacement for my 9 year old Samsung that went kaput :( Same"ish" model, a few less features but gets the job done and fits the space, coordinates with the other Samsungs that are still hanging on... Hope to get more years out of this one...

Obviously this is nitpicking as it is just one more step to press start but it took some time for us to get used to.

I got a brand new one when my first one failed. Then the brand new one failed after a few months of use. I was shocked! The first one started burning inside of it. Other reviews claim similar issues but some report none. Hence I got a second one. A few months later the rotating plate was humming and which was so noisy I couldn’t live with it. At that point I exchanged it because I could no longer return it for a refund. I think the more expensive ones are made better

Our Maytag went out and we went with this Samsung. The technicians here in Santa Fe, NM were excellent! They were professional, quick and worked hard at installing this new microwave about our stove. The brackets were different so they had to install new bracketing. They were so good! Thank you for picking up our old microwave, and all that hard work at installing.

We had Geek Squad protection and they found one as close to our old one as possible since our old one was no longer avaialble. It has the functions we need and looks nice with our other appliances.
