If you have a warranty issue, Samsung has the worst warranty policies and customer service. I bought this microwave for my elderly mother. After about 6 months it caught on fire while in use and she immediately turned it off. I called Samsung and they sent Service Quick for the warranty repair. They determined the microwave was 'arcing' without anything in it and defective. I then asked Samsung to replace the unit. They advised that could take at least 20 business days and when they did deliver the replacement microwave, they wouldn't install it our haul away the old unit. I would need to pay for someone to install and haul away. Even though they acknowledged the unit was defective. After that they would only reimburse for a portion of the installation and haul away cost. This was a $215 microwave with a million dollar headache caused by Samsung's defective product and terrible customer experience. Their whole warranty process is designed to fatigue you down to giving up, which I ultimately did. I will never buy another Samsung product again as result of this experience. Their customer service and warranty policy is not customer friendly, to say the very least.
