I have no complaint about the way this microwave cooks. I love the multiple speed fan and the removable shelf, and it has an easy clean surface which makes life easier, but the light beneath the microwave is a miserable excuse even for a night light. Its impossible to see what your cooking underneath this thing,which caused us to have to buy a light and attach it to the microwave bottom. And then, every button chosen must be accompanied with pushing the start button. There is no "instant on minute". But I must add that this is the first microwave that doesn't partially cook when defrosting.

We liked this microwave. It matched our new Samsung oven and had nice features. But after 15 months, I got the "SE" (system error) on the display, and no amount of power resets #Samsung's only solution# would fix it. Google this brand microwave, and you will see many of the same experiences. The electronic keypad may last through the 12 month warranty, but shortly thereafter, there are frequent problems. For a $75-90 service call and a new $200 keypad, you've basically replaced your $300 Samsung microwave in less than 2 years. I had thought Samsung was a safe brand but am steering clear of all things Samsung in the future. Good luck.

I compared this model to every other microwave in the store with similar features. I love the Samsung brand. It has a beautiful finish and a larger capacity than every one in it's price range. The price made it a no brainer!

Purchased this microwave to replace a 10-year old Fridgadaire. Good product, easy to install, works great. The only thing I don't like is the blue clock display as it is hard to read than the clear or green further away.

Other reviews say the fan is loud, but really it's not that bad. This model requires a time selection, then pressing start - our old microwave would start on a single button press. The sensor cook technology is great when heating a dish to be served. Cooking some left-overs on a plate, the food is plenty hot. Microwave works great, easy to install, highly recommended.

I had to get this microwave replaced twice because the first two units had been damaged in shipment. I picked up the third unit myself at a Best Buy store. Best Buy was great to deal with. I put the blame on Samsung with contribution from UPS. The units are not packed in a way that covers the edges of the microwave's frame. Instead, the packaging only covers the top and bottom corners which allowed the frames to get damaged in shipment. Granted, the boxes looked like then went through hell to get here, but maybe that's what will happened when there is a hollow space between the box and the unit in places. It was also hard to remove and replace the plastic trim on the top of the microwave which has to be removed to insert the filter. You have to slide it over towards the door to get it out but you risk hurting the door when you do that plus when you replace it, if you don’t get it slid back exactly where it belongs, you risk the change of it hooking the door when you close the door. It is possible to get in in correctly, but BE CAREFUL to shut the door slowly the first time to make sure the piece of trim is in the right place!

I bought this item after having all whirlpool appliances and I switched all of my appliances to Samsung and everthing works great and looks great! I love how this microwave cooks and just looks clean. No matter how much I cleaned the whirlpool microwave, it just kept having smudges and looked horrible and I clean this with just simple soap and water and wipe dry and it looks fantastic. Thank you Samsung

At first glance I was disappointed with some of the button choices. On my last unit, popcorn had multiple choices depending on bag size, but worked best at 2.22--this one doesn't display any time until after the cooking is partially finished, but always seems to make the right choice. The "Pizza" button works very well for re-heating a slice or two--once again no time is shown at first, but the sensor's choice works great; pizza is hot, but the crust doesn't turn into leather like a typical microwaved slice.

We bought this model based on the rave reviews posted at the time, which was less than a year and a half ago. After one week, the glitch that plagued this model struck and the keypad died and had to be replaced. It worked wonderfully for a year and a half and then one day, it just stopped working. Thankfully, we had had the foresight to purchase a four year warranty through Best Buy. We contacted the Geek Squad and they sent out a technician to check it out. The tech said the fuse panel had blown and replacing it should take care of the problem. The part came and when the second tech installed it, the microwave remained dead. This tech determined that we needed a new magnetron. Today, the tech came back and installed the new parts and once again, the microwave remained dead. We now have to have it replaced. I will never buy another Samsung microwave again.

Very good microwave oven. It has the evenest cooking of any microwave we have owned in the past. We like most everything, except find the control panel a bit hard to read (over 70). Some of the controls are a bit confusing too. But,we keep the manual handy and things are working out well.

We did a total kitchen remodel & picked this one for size & watts. While the light was dim & I thought wouldn't be good when cooking on the stove top, we got used to it. Our keypad stopped working at 24 months with the error message "SE". We tried all methods to reset it but nothing worked. All Samsung could do was have a repair company call us. For a $99 "diagnostic" service they would tell us what it would cost to repair it. That $99 would be applied to the service call if we had the work done. I knew it was the keypad based on other online descriptions of the same problem. I asked what the part would cost & how much labor. The part was $92.50 but they couldn't quote the labor cost. Really?? $200 or more to fix. I'm buying another oven and it won't be a Samsung. If you buy one, definitely buy the 4 year extended warranty. you will use it!

I replaced my old microwave with this one, only because the handle brook on my old one. I got this at a great sale price which I'm happy about. It was easy to install, looks grate, and matches my Samsung refrigerator perfectly. It seems to work fine although it is not as powerfull as my old microwav (takes longer to boil a cup of water). I like the different texture on the number pad, but it feels like your having to mash the buttons when u press. I wish the keypad was more responsive to a lighter touch. Other than that it's great.

its a good price initially it was quiet but now the turntable makes noise and a week after i got it the plastic on the numbers started peeling off.....i wouldnt buy another samsung...and i own a samsung tv fridge but

It is very nice, and by all means it is quiet, just can be a tiny bit more quiet and it would be perfect! Love the night light with the timer. Cooks evenly and good and gets all the microwave jobs done with great features, Matches the stove perfect too!

Auto cooking for beverages, popcorn, etc has been superior--especially compared to our prior GE and KitchenAid models. Installation wasn't bad because we could still use the wal backet from 2 micros back (1996 vintage). Seems to take too many steps--we got used to preset single buttons for 1 to 6 minutes. To stop cooking early it wants both stop and then cancel. Same feature and power cost considerable more for other brands.

Best thing about this product is it's 4 speed fan , thats why I purchased it and that's all I got ! This micro vent replaced a dependable product that was full of Samsung parts ( it was only 2 yrs old caught fire and quit working ) so my thought process was if you can't beat em join em ! This product doesn't appearer to heat as well ! Buyer beware A beer can is sturdier than tis microwave ! Case and point upon installation SET the back of the microwave on the strip that holds the microwave to the wall one screw was not all the way seated and bent the cabinet ! Next upon installing the screws that the microwave hang from (through the cabinet) the case bent !

Does what it's supposed to do very well. A bit noisey while it cooks. Installation through Best Buy was helpful, but it doesn't hang as tight to the cabinet as I would like.

I got this microwave delivered the 1st time and it was dented on two sides in the front. I wouldnt have minded but it was not hidden by the cabinets. The 2nd time i had it delivered to my local Best Buy and it was still dented. I needed this for my rental and decided it was good enough and pushed out the dent the best I could. I went to my rental and noticed that the white microwave is all covered in black debrie. It wipes right off but makes the product look terrible. I have whiped it off but everytime you cook smoke attaches to the product again. I would have gotten it in another color if i new this.

We bought this along with a Samsung 30" smooth top range, partly because of the matching design, but also at the recommendation of the salesperson. We've been very happy with it even though it is used primary to warm things up. The plus 30 second button is very handy because it increments by 30 seconds each time you push it. The keypad seemed a little stiff when new, but it responds more easily now after about six months of use. We've had absolutely no problems with it.
