I LOVE SAMSUNG, but this microwave has been my WORST product purchase from them or BestBuy. This unit has KNOWN issues. Why Bestbuy keeps it on their shelf i do not know. Search for this unit on-line and all you will find is heart break......review after review of how this unit magically just stops working after exactly one year and a few days...... just outside of covered warranty. the great reviews you see on the Bestbuy website are from customers that have obviously not owned this unit for more than a year..... they will be back to write another. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PRODUCT. AVOID IT AT ALL COST !!!!

This was a replacement for an older model from same manufacturer the control panel is updated some so I had to learn it. (Read the instructions for a change). Works fine.

I was very disappointed with this product. It looked great but the metal part was the same thickness as the soda can. When installed microwave was shaking quite a lot whenever the doors would open or close. Template for drilling holes in the upper cabinet did not align properly with the holes for screws on the microwave. It needed adjusting. And to top it off, when we tried to warm up the cup of water the microwave would shut off completely after 10 seconds. No, the circuit breaker did not trip. We tried plugging microwave into several different places with the same result. The microwave was returned to the store and we purchased one from different manufacturer. I'd give it zero stars if that option was available.

Great quality. I really love the look and the features.

We had to replace this unit in less than one year from date of purchase due to an electrical glitch which was not honored by warranty.

It is just a microwave ... it fits with the look of my kitchen and it works. The 30 Second interval v. 1 minute is nice.

We installed this microwave to vent to the outside since we didnt have a seperate exhaust fast in the kitchen. I am now finding that if you have the fan on, when you use the microwave , the fan powers down to less than the power of the lowest setting, this is NOT GOOD with warm weather coming and sefeats the entire purpose of having the fan, I am now going to have to see what can be done ( exchange return defect who knows but cannot keep microwave in this condition. Agree that everything else is ok and the lighting is quite insufficient from the micro but that is more of a preference than a must have for me.

Coupled with the matching 5 burner convection oven - kitchen looks like it had a makeover!

I love this new microwave and it has extra power buttons to reheat specific things.

Ergonomics are bad, Overall poor job for ease of use. door does not line up, buttons must be pushed hard, small print , light is VERY WEAK, light button is not obvious, no brightness setting for clock, Start button is not obvious. You must hunt for most used buttons. I would NOT buy this again. I have had the unit for 60 days. Samsung missed on this layout.

The light under the unit is so dim it looks like a nightlight. When I had had this unit less than a month the light cover shattered and a piece of the glass fell on top of my range. It was so hot it burned my fingers when I picked it up. The vent fan is poor. I bought it because of the 400 cfm 4-speed fan, but it will not even hold up a piece of paper on high. I am returning it.

Sure it is not very expensive and it looks good, but mine broke down after about 18 months, conveniently after the warranty had expired. So I had to go through the hassle of installing a new one. It seems to be a problem with the circuit board or the keypad, anyway I replaced it with an LG instead. I found that it seems to create its own power surges. When you run the microwave oven and the hood fan at the same time, the hood fan slows down. The 1 lb defrost setting does not work well, especially on chicken breast, I usually have to run it twice.

after our whirlpool lasted only 2.5 years we went samsun, had to have it repaired 2 times within a year. dont know what brand to trust anymore.

Failures in occurrence order: 1) Clock stopped 2) Handle came off 3) Turntable stopped 4) Unit stopped working all together

1) DID NOT OPERATE RIGHT OUT OF THE BOX. MADE LOUD, DYSFUNCTIONAL NOISES THEN STOPPED OPERATING, & REQUIRED CLOCK RESET-OVER & OVER & OVER & NEVER WORKED-AFTER THE INSTALLER LEFT. NOT THE SIGN OF A QUALITY PRODUCT. RETURN SCHEDULED. 2) 16" DEEP AND DID NOT FIT WELL IN THE OLD CABINET. I'LL LOOK FOR A 15" DEEP OVEN THIS TIME. 3) OVER STOVE TOP LIGHT DIM WITH ONLY ONE BULB. 4) NOTHING GOOD TO SAY. HUGE WASTE OF TIME CHOOSING THIS PRODUCT.

Door will not latch. Only used a little over a year. Of course it is out warranty. Came into kitchen and saw light on in microwave. The unit had not been used by my wife or by me. I guess that gremlins caused it to fail. I have had mirowaves that lasted for years without a problem and they were more heavily used than this microwave.

I purchased all the my appliances Samsung last year.. including this microwave and it just broke after its first year warranty. not to mention the dishwasher broke as well and needed to be replaced. Don't buy Samsung appliances!!

There are very many good reviews on here, that helped me make the decision to try a Samsung. However, I would NEVER have tried it, had I read all the reviews, including the ones that say it breaks down after the year is up. That's exactly what happened to me! Will never buy another thing made from Samsung!

This microwave broke after 15 months of use, just after 3 months of expiration of the warranty. This lifetime of the product seems to be calculated my the manufacturer. I will never again buy a Sumsung microwave. The problem seems to be with cables at the electronics panel. The "Select Option 1-4" comes on and the problem deactivate the panel so you cannot press any key.

Exhaust fan is unacceptable. Samsung should be a ashamed of themselves for releasing a product like this.
