    Nice microwave

    I like the look of the microwave. It goes well with all of my other appliances. The only issues with it is that the buttons don't light up on the microwave when you open it to use it so you can see what you are pressing. Other than that nice microwave.

    What time is it Samsung?

    The microwave has a clock/timer but there is no way to set the time. I read the manual carefully about 5 times and it gives no information on how to adjust the clock on this particular model. I’ve played around with all the buttons and haven’t found anyway of adjusting the time. It pretty strange. The unit itself is average. There’s nothing outstanding about it at all.

    I make the mistake of buying the same microwave I had before. The other one after 1 year, the door broke and the. I bought this again and has issue with the door. It’ll work by itself sometimes. Another issue with the door. I need to return it.

    garbage. we replaced our microwave, fridge, and stove range with a samsung black stainless set. The microwave went out just past the one year warrantee and the fridge fan freezes over and makes noise every time it gets over 85 degrees out. Samsung and Bestbuy will not replace this microwave that stopped heating and I now have a mismatched kitchen again! dont buy SAMSUNG ANYTHING!

    DO NOT BUY A SAMSUNG APPLIANCE. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE. We purchased a Samsung microwave in 11/19 after having a GE microwave for 17 years. Six months after purchasing the microwave displayed an “SE” and the microwave was not able to be used. We tried to unplug, turn off at the breaker, etc…. Apparently an SE error code indicates that you have a stuck key on the control keypad or a failed electronic control board so I contacted Samsung. I uploaded a copy of my receipt and I was told it was not under warranty (but it has a year warranty?) so after several phone calls they took it under review and a week later they approved the warranty. Next! I must schedule a repair visit…Great!! I was scheduled for June 26th, it was June 15th….after dealing with phone calls and the online scheduling system I was notified via text message that my repair visit has been moved to July 6th. So….another call to Samsung. Come to discover there is only ONE service provider Samsung contracts with in New Jersey, eastern Pa and NYC…QuickService and they are not helpful! When I call Samsung to see why my repair visit was moved they said that they will try to locate another service center (but there isn’t one) and contact me in 2 days. A few days later I am contacted with a new repair date of July 10th because they canceled the date date on July 6th and the next date was July 10th. A whole week goes by and I get a text that my repair request has been cancelled all together because of COVID…mind you they have told me it was perfectly safe for them to come in to my home 2 weeks earlier and COVID has been around for 3 months. I asked them if I can get a refund on the appliance so I can purchase a new one? NO! When will I be able to have the microwave serviced? UNKNOWN! They will not be scheduling any service repairs or issuing refunds or replacing their equipment that has failed under warranty. Resolution…we ended up spending money to buy a new GE and had to waste the $400 and threw the Samsung microwave in the garbage.

    30 second button doesn’t automatically start. You have to press start. This was a gamechanger at least for my husband. :( otherwise does ok, nothing special.

    Save you $. I bought an entire Samsung package, fridge, dishwasher, range and microwave. Dishwasher had issues almost immediately, had to replace it 2 years in. Microwave died year 4. Ice make on fridge had known issues (per service rep) and was repaired within the first year and the range digital display shows flashing characters constantly in the background of the clock display. I’m replacing with GE as they break down.

    Failed too fast

    It worked a little bit more than 2 years and stop working. There was some smoke from microwave evenIi heated up regular plate with food. I can't find replacement (the same white color) because it is not very popular now. Cost of repair is unpredictable, but very high. There is no upper limit when order repair that is why, I decided to replace with exactly the same model.

    Geek Squad Failure x 2

    We had geek squad install our microwave. The first installation, they did it incorrectly resulting in the vents being covered and the microwave dying. Bestbuy was great in providing us with a new one, however, geek squad failed to properly install the charcoal filter. We didn’t discover this error until years later when we went to replace the filter and realized it was absent. Bestbuy refused to make this right. I am very disappointed in their installation service so buyer be aware.
