We bought our old one from Lowes and they sell microwaves that have manufacturers dates as far back as 2015. Check the manufactures date before purchasing one. I am happy that BestBuy has microwaves that were made in 2019.

The wattage output on the radio waves is very reliable; two strips of bacon cook perfectly at 2 minutes on high every time. We did have to install supplemental lighting close to the unit because the all-black of the unit makes it hard to see without it (or with the huge overhead light in the kitchen). We like it.

Ended up with this and was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. The installation was a bear i don't care what nobody else says but the end results was well worth it. Nice quiet functional microwave.
