Quick, Hot, Hot, Hot with only 30 sec!! Very attractive, Matches my other appliances( from different manufacturers) perfectly. Great reference menu cooking, reheating & thawing right inside top panel. Had to replace our microwave pronto. What a great choice. Unknowingly, my daughter bought an earlier model 4-5 yrs ago & has loved it every minute.

The first one was installed but we discovered it wouldn't actually heat anything. BestBuy was apologetic and great about immediately scheduling a return/replacement and install a few days later and were very happy with the second device. Replacement took literally 15 minutes.

Amazing microwave, easy to clean and low noise when running.

This replaced a 1600 watt overhead microwave. For the money, was a good deal. It's not as powerful so I have to hear things around 20% longer usually, but it does what I need it to. Also lacks some features of more expensive microwaves, but I'm not a fancy person when it comes to kitchen appliances.

Compliments my new stainless steel gas stove and has all the bells and whistles.

I purchased this Samsung Microwave because my wife wanted a white microwave to match the white range below this "over-the-range" microwave, and this brand was especially attractive. However, I was disappointed to find that this model was not equipped with a handy feature that my previous GE model offered. My GE microwave would allow me to simply depress the number one and the microwave would turn on and heat for one minute, or the number two for two minutes of cook time, etc., all the way through ten for ten minutes of good time. This was a simple, but very handy feature (one button for action, as opposed to having to press "Cook Time", then three number presses for the desired heating time, then start). Also, with my previous GE model, when I put a a coffee cup into the microwave, no matter what time I selected, when the heating cycle was complete, the handle of the coffee cup would always wind-up in the same orientation as the start of the heating cycle. This was very handy in that I did not have to reach around a very not coffee mug to rotate the coffee cup around where I could access the coffee mug handle to remove the coffee mug from the microwave. I am always heating water for tea, or reheating a cup of coffee. I found it annoying that this Samsung microwave almost always resulted in the coffee mug handle being in a less-than-optimal position for removing the hot mug from the microwave (it would often finish the heating cycle with the coffee mug handle at the back of the hot mug). This "completion-of-heating-cycle" did not matter if I was reheating a plate of food. And lastly, we have one of the rare situations where the cabinet on the left side of the microwave extended out three inches further than the right side of the microwave. This did not allow the Samsung microwave door to open more than eight inches, as the door pivot point extended an inch past the left side (door hinge side). The previous GE model did not have this problem as the door never extended beyond the left side of the microwave. We did not realize that this was an issue until it came time to replace our GE Microwave. We therefore had to return this Samsung Microwave to Best Buy and selected a GE 1.9 cubit foot model in which the door only pivots out 1/8. To be fair, the doors on 95% of all the "over-the-range" microwaves that Best Buy had on display pivot 1/2" to 1-1/4". My kitchen cabinetry is a very rare circumstance and I don't expect the manufacturers of microwave ovens to have to accommodate situations such as mine. I was pleasantly surprised to find that my new GE Microwave oven still offers the one-button express feature, as well as the same start/finish orientation of my coffee cup. Also, to be fair, we have a Samsung upright washer and drier and have been super happy with these appliances, and would be very happy to consider other Samsung appliances in the future. Sorry to be so long winded.

2nd one in 3yrs. First one door came loose and stopped working. But good microwave and like the functions of it for the price

This microwave looks nice and I'm grateful that Best Buy had this model w/ similar dimensions to replace my old Samsung...This newer model is not as smooth as the old one sadly. The door is cheap and feels clumsy and makes a loud sound when you close the door. Ouch my ears! The buttons are still hard to push which I thought might be improved in the newer model. The cooking sensors are a nice option and seems to work well overall, but I swear I can still hear my Mother's voice "they don't make um like they used to!"

This microwave has all the features we were looking for at a great price. Easy to use and looks good, too.

Got this as a replacement for an Insignia that died and couldn't be fixed luckily right before 1yr mark. Picked up an Amana replacement first, but found the top front cabinet mounting bolts were too far forward for an older ~11" depth cabinet, so the Best Buy sales person recommended this microwave and sure enough it has a shallow mounting bolt depth similar to the other prior microwave range hoods we've had in this location. In general it's perfectly fine, hence 3 stars and I'll list the pros/cons, with some of the cons being simple things Samsung could have easily done better but decided to sell it as-is instead. Pros: -Very nice, modern, and robust looks -Extra large capacity for an over-range microwave -Shallow cabinet mounting capable (not shallow overall depth) -Not overly tall height-wise considering the larger internal capacity -Has a recessed turntable plate, and combined with the deeper overall depth and slightly taller height compared to prior microwave range hoods, I think it's a bit easier for shorter folks to reach in and grab hot dishes out more safely versus an over-range microwave with higher base or shallower depth so forced to reach over the oven further into the microwave cavity. -The range fan seems very powerful and has something like 3 speeds Cons: -I'm not the primary user but have heard back that the heating speed doesn't seem to be quite as good as other similar wattage microwaves we've had in the past -Force needed to press the keypad keys is oddly high -For those that like to view the food cooking, boiling, or overflowing, this microwave has insufficient internal lighting for when the door is closed and trying to see thru the protection grille/glass, unless your kitchen is dark -Seems you can't use the kitchen countdown timer and use the microwave to cook something at the same time. Others we've had didn't have this limitation -The range lighting seems adequate but they could have made this one use bright LEDs like the Insignia had, or if this one does have LED lighting, it could definitely be a cooler color and brighter -There are some decent concerns around Samsung reliability and customer service follow-up but since we bought this one on a significant sale or price match mark down, I'm not as concerned as if we paid full retail for it. I'm still marking this as I'd recommend it as long as any of the cons above aren't deal-breakers since on sale or marked down, as long as it doesn't break prematurely, it's still a good, large microwave for the price.

Beautiful finish and works wonderfully! Parents are elderly and live with me and the numbers are very visible and the microwave is simple for them to use and navigate. Fan exhaust is strong. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a black stainless steel setup!

Like the dark color interior and the ease of cleaning

Everything i want from a microwave with a few drawbacks. Exhaust fan is a lil noisy, even on low. Closing the door is loud no matter how easy you push it. But it does make it feel solid. Extra large capacity is nice. Ceramic interior makes for easy clean up. Overall I really like it
