    Only purchased this because of the exact sizing for the space. The old was also a Samsung and was 2 years old. With an estimate of $200 to repair, I replaced it for less money but, did also need to pay for the repair service call.

    This microwave is a replacement for the previous Whirlpool microwave which lasted less than 6 years. Love the solid feel of the door and solid feel overall. It was easy to install although the mounting had to be modified compared to the previous microwave. The exhaust fan is quiet and multiple speeds is a plus It cooks quite well. The light has two bulbs and gives off adequate light.

    I think the keypad is hard to push Former Microwave (Whirlpool) had a preset 30 sec that was automatic & very convenient, this new model does not. Tapping 30 sec then tapping start (2step) is not a positive in rating this appliance.
