This works great and has ended my hunt. I have gone through quite a few cheper options on Amazon and decided to try this wireless charger since i was not satisfied with the ones i had gotten.

Not ideal for in the bed charging. Item should be placed over charger and remain stable. If the phone or item shifts, charging will end. My phone has issues with cable charging at the moment.

Newer generation is much better

I prefer the squared off shape of this to the prior iterations that consisted of a larger and smaller circle. It's much easier to match the charging modules without having to adjust. There also seems to be a magnetic pull which just feels like higher quality. This version also does has not shown any errors with flashing charging lights as the prior version frequently had.

The side that is for a watch has a magnet that snaps the watch into place. Just make sure to place the phone correctly and ensure that it is charging before walking off. Also remember this does not come with the wall plug. One last thing: It's not black. It's more of a grey color.
