The description for this product says "Forget about wires as you add these speakers to your setup . . . ". Well, the speakers have to connect to the unit via WIRES. It is not wireless. There is a wireless unit that it transmits to, then you need to connect the speakers to the unit with wires. So, it may save you from having to run long speaker wire runs . . . but it is NOT wireless. I thought the description was deceiving.

purchased Samsung 9000 series 65" tv, blue ray and a sound bar - was great. Went back the next day to purchase the extra surround sound speakers, all they had was one open box. I was told that it was checked out and everything worked. I was excited (especially since we dropped so much money the day before - wow a bargain!) Not so fast. I hooked the speakers up, and you cannot hear anything from them - unless you are sitting with them in your ear. If there is a way to turn up the volume please tell me because I cannot find it. it was a total waste of money. I was told they were in working order - but if this is it, it's horrible. Perhaps it's a bad speaker - but wait, geek squad said it was in working order....so not sure what to do. Seems the receipt flew out of the bag as I merrily skipped to my car thinking 'wow what a deal'...now feeling more like 'wow this really sucks...'

These are a joke! I have the Samsung HW-K450 soundbar that sounds great and thought these would be nice addition. I have a Denon&Definitive speaker surround system, but thought this would be nice when I didn't want shake the house.

I was sold this wireless rear speaker kit SWA-8000s/za kit with the HW-J6500R/ZA soundbar that I purchased only to get home and find out that it is NOT compatible with the HW-J6500R/ZA soundbar.

I bought these because they are advertised as wireless speakers. This is not true. They require wires to connect to a main station. What good are wireless speakers if they require wires?

Speaker wires are short and there is no other solution. I do not have a huge room, however I want the system behind my sectional sofa. In order to get connected to the home base, you really can not hide it too far behind the sofa (otherwise you loose wifi connection). The speakers do have wires from the base to the speakers. They are short if you really want to spread them out and the base to get connection to the main system. I contacted Samsung and their answer was sorry we have no longer wires. The connection is propriatary to Samsung- so you can't use regular wires to extend. Really poor design! Do not buy

When I went to the store I was told they would sync, but after ordering these and the HW-J7500R/ZA online, when i tried syncing them, they wouldnt. Total waste of time.

I bought these after Black Friday to pair with the K550. The K550 was great, but these were not. The wires weren't a concern for me, I just wanted true 5.1 surround. There always seemed to be faint static. I also had to put my ear right up to the speakers to make sure sound was coming out, because it was difficult to tell. Good idea, Samsung, but poor execution. Returned product to Best Buy

These suck. The box says they are "wireless rear speakers" but they are not wireless at all. It has old school wiring that needs to be clamped into the back of each speaker from the "wireless" receiver. Which is also technically not wireless considering the plug connects from the receiver to the wall or surge protector. False advertising? Or am I missing some alternate way to set these up?

The soundbar works as expected. The sound from these rear surround speakers is just not worth the money. You have to be within inches of it and it does not enhance the sound experience any bit. Disappointed.

It's good. But not for the rear speakers. Cuz it's on a same chanel like front speakers.
