Not happy after spending all this money..

It randomly stops working and what's frustrating about it the display that show the temperature is incorrect.. I call Samsung and was told to unplug for 5 minutes to reset the fridge, once I plug it back in the display show 63 for the fridge and 41 for the freezer.. (I set it at 36 and -1).. So far I lost $75 on food in 1 week...

NO FRIDGE - WILL NOT COME BACK FOR 4 DAYS.

Never seemed to knock on the door and I dont have a fridge and all my food is spoiling. The installers here said the fridge was on its way so not to worry they are coming today. I called and they are not coming until this weekend.

Received a damaged product

What a mess

After explaining SEVERAL times and have them verify it was gouging an RV !! Upon delivery I was informed they could not install the unit and I have NO WARRANTY!!! Upon return store twice and talking to managers , I was refunded my extended warranty and installation fees !!! But I now have a fridge with ZERO WARRANTY!!! I paid full price for a fridge without the SAMSUNG 1/10 year warranty!! When I asked for compensation they refused!!! This is exact fridge that came in my RV new !!! Built into wall opening!!! No warranties are free !! It’s built into the price !!! Best Buy charged me $250 for a 3 year extension!! ( which they refunded ) but offers no compensation for a fridge with Zero warranty that I paid full price for !!! Only informing me after it was delivered!!!!! Rated a 1 star only because 0 is not an option!!!

Go with a different brand!!!!

It literally randomly defrosts everything in the freezer but says it’s still at a normal temperature . So meat goes bad, popsicles melt and end up all over the floor!!!! ice cream/ food gets freezer burnt. It’s NOT HEALTHY, and it’s NOT SAFE. I always heard Samsung appliances were garbage. Now I got to find out for myself. I wish we never settled for this fridge. Also, the stainless steel is not worth the look.. fingerprints all over every single day that you have to use a special cleaner to keep it looking decent. I have toddlers so that’s basically impossible. I AM SO ANGRY ABOUT IT WASTING MY FOOD ATLEAST ONCE A WEEK. I lost SO MUCH BREASTMILK. I just fully weaned and now the breastmilk is GARBAGE. Thank you for making my life 1 million times more complicated.

Piece of junk

I purchased this refrigerator/freezer in 2021 specially because it had 2 separate cooling systems. I also purchased the extended Geek Squad warranty. Saturday 2/24 I came home to both the refrigerator and freezer section warm and all my food ruined. On 3/1 a Geek Squad tech came out for maybe 10 mins, said he could not fix it and said someone should call me to set up an appointment with a 3rd party to fix it. Instead I received an email about an appointment made for me on a day I was working. In 3/5 I called and rescheduled the appointment for today. I received a text from Best Buy confirming the appointment. This morning after receiving a new text from Best Buy saying I have an appointment tomorrow I called and after an hour of being shuffled around and hung up on the result is I have no appointment in spite of the confirmation text from Best Buy. They can not make me a new appointment because the hold time is 35 mins and they can not wait that long. So with already not having refrigeration for almost 2 weeks there is no end in sight and Best Buy could apparently not care less.

Freezer doesnt work, buy something else.

Id probably give it 4 stars, if it wasnt for the fact that the freezer isnt working properly after only having the thing for 6 weeks. First, we noticed a loud humming sound followed by the freezer not freezing overnight, causing everythi g to melt hy morning. We had a tech come out and look at it, said everything was fine it just needs to be further from the wall (thr manual says 3 inches, now it is sitting about 5 inches from the wall.) A week later its having the same issue, as well as other strange noises coming from the back. Definitely not acceptable, and I am definitely not a happy customer.

DON’T PURCHASE !

I was able to get refunded by Samsung since it was still under the one year warranty. Dont purchase! There is a group on Facebook called Samsung Refrigerator Recall USA Now please look into it.

Disappointing and anything but smart

Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I mostly purchased this due to it's clean and minimalistic design, but the fridge almost instantly died after delivery. A week in, the thermostat stopped working and thawed everything out and it had to be unplugged and plugged back in to work. Best Buy replaced it, but sadly it took like 2 weeks! In other words, I couldn't have any groceries, perishables or home cooked meals for half a month. Now, I have a new second one, and the thermostat works but it's still just bleh. The ice maker overfills so every time you open the freezer, ice gets dumped out all over the floor. Also, when cleaning the fridge out, the door being left open just for a minute results in annoying beeping, where the only way to get it to stop is close both doors and re-open them. So if it takes 3 or 4 minutes to clean out the fridge, you have to open and close the doors 3 times. Sure, the WiFi stuff works so now my phone notifies me when the door opens or closes, but I have no idea who needs that feature. It also claims to have a "power-cool" option where it makes your drinks cold really fast, but it's easier to just put a soda in a freezer for a few minutes. On the bright side, at least it works now and it looks really good but those are very low standards for an item over $1,000, especially from Samsung who I normally love.

Broke in less than 2 weeks...
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The pros of this fridge: more affordable and attractive and stylish than any of it's competition, for this size. Unfortunately. The cons of this fridge are basically everything else. In short, it stopped working completely 2 weeks after delivery. Once, about a week in, I noticed that everything in the freezer defrosted. I assumed maybe I didn't close the door all the way, and thought I'd give it another chance. Then the day before yesterday (13 days after delivery), the internal electronic thermometer said "37" and "0" which is what I set it on, but everything inside the fridge was warm. One night later, things inside the fridge started spoiling, and the thermometer now was flashing "37." Freezer still said "0." Then a few hours later, the thermometer for the fridge actually said "49" and would not let me reset it to "37." While the thermometer for the freezer still said "0" everything inside was in fact melted. The rear panel of the fridge was very warm to the touch, I resigned to throwing everything out, and unplugged it, in case it was planning on getting even more broken. A special "0" rating goes to Best Buy. They actually have this fridge in stock in their warehouse, which is 1.5 hours away from my house. But they claim that they are unable to deliver it until 8 days from now, which is when they would deliver it if I had bought a new fridge today. So basically they're claiming that they're unable to make any sort of accommodation due to the fact that they sold me a defective fridge. They are however really sorry that I will need to live with no fridge for 8 days.

The ice maker has took a crap and when it did work it leaks and hold water under the freezer door, I bought the warranty through best buy and they are no help and neither is samsung, one will tell you to call the other one. The item I ordered was on sale, and with the promotion plus the 15% new credit card discount, my total should have been around $828. Instead, I just received a statement for $907.09. When I called customer service to resolve this, I was transferred between multiple departments and kept on hold for over an hour. No one could give me a clear answer or take responsibility for fixing the issue. The whole experience was frustrating, stressful, and a huge waste of time. I trusted Best Buy to honor the advertised pricing and promotions, but this has been nothing but a headache. If this is how customers are treated, I’ll have to think twice before shopping here again.

cooling issues
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.really liked the new look and doors without handles, the size was perfect for our room...... however once delivered, the unit would stop cooling, the lights were on but the unit was warm and freezer was defrosted. inside temp read 37 and 0..... unplugged unit and let it set 5 minutes....plugged back in and temp read 54 and 41, eventually cooled down, but this continued to repeat for the next 2 weeks, called samsung and best buy and they are going to remove the unit and issue refund..... did not have stock to replace.... so I am out a fridg until I can find a new one

Less than two months, freezer already failing.

Less than 2 months later, the freezer randomly stopped working. The app said the freezer was at 0 degrees, and that everything was fine. Meanwhile, everything in the freezer melted and had to be thrown away. I contacted Samsung for a warranty repair, They told me this was totally normal, and that I should unplug the fridge for 5 minutes and plug it back in again. This, indeed, caused the freezer to start freezing again. However, they refused to pay for my lost food and I do not trust that this will not happen again, so I am afraid to put anything in the freezer other than ice.

Disappointment with both appliance and Beat Buy

When I called geek squad they said they didn’t have anyone that could work on this type of refrigerator and to contact Samsung. When contacting Samsung online because that’s the only way to do anything it would be a month for someone to come out and LOOK at the refrigerator. I had to replace my groceries 3 times because it kept defrosting everything and getting warm. Finally exchanged it for a completely different refrigerator

By the first week of April started smelling an electrical burning smell and the same the second week and on April 12th called Samsung and technician came out on April 19th and he changed the mother board. April 21st my water and soda was not cold and my ice cream and cold pack was not frozen in freezer. The fridge was making a loud noise and outside of fridge was hot not warm but hot. I unplugged it and took everything out. Next service April 28th we'll see.

Buyer beware, this fridge doesn't work

The cooling would stop working, despite the display showing cold temperatures. After power cycling, the display would then show the correct (warm) temperatures and begin cooling down. After a small amount of time (less than 24 hours) the same thing would happen all over again. I lost a ton of food as I worked with Samsung support for months. Finally, I was given a replacement unit after Samsung told me mine was defective. The SAME thing happened less than 6 hours after plugging it in!! I now have to jump through yet another lengthy return process without a working fridge. There are other reviews with the same issues, DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE!!

If your freezer is not freezing, or if your fridge or other temperature-controlled compartments (such as FlexZone) are not cooling, there are several options for fixing the problem and correcting the temperature.

If you just received the unit, please ensure it is not in demo mode. It will look like it is ON but is in the showroom demo mode. This mode will disable the cooling system in your refrigerator, freezer, and ice maker.
