    Liked fridg, poor support for service from samaung

    After over 2 hours on bestbuy service line we are told we need to contact Samsung because it is under their warranty befor Best Buy protection plan kicks in. Samsung would not proved an appointment for 2 days. When they did provide an appointment it was 10 days from when we reported the issue. This is unacceptable on a refrigerator not working.

    Stay far away from this refrigerator. I purchased this as an appliance bundle deal for a short-term rental. The refrigerator has always had cooling issues since day one. I thought it was maybe because it was rarely ever full. Fast-forward to today, the freezer no longer keeps things frozen and fridge does not cool. Samsung microwave gave out exactly a year later. Samsung dryer at another property needed service 3 times in 3 years already. Just waiting for the range and dishwasher to give out. Now in the process of contacting Samsung for service.

    Don't buy at Best Buy

    Can't even return it after a day of delivery. I've been trying to return this item which show in my account as returned yet is seating in my leaving room, same as everything else i bought with this package and when i try to return the item it says that they can't do the transaction because it shows as already being returned yet they haven't returned the money and I'm sure if in the future I need the warranty for the items i keep they probably won't honor it since it shows as being return already

    Handle screw came broken and when I called Samsung they refused to replace it. The only option they were giving me was to return the fridge and that wasn’t an option because I needed the fridge.

    The refridgerator came with dents in the left front door and it does not cool to the desired temp. Now dealing with getting Best Buy Geek Squad out here to fix both on a brand new refridgerator. This speaks to the overall quality of the appliance and the way it was handled before delivered to us.

    Refrigerator has failed after 3 weeks. Currently going through procedure to get it working. If that doesn’t work, they will send technician out. Meanwhile, refrigerator is full of food that will spoil. Not happy at the moment. It’s also Saturday so unlikely their service is good enough to get someone out today or tomorrow. Very frustrating.

    Don’t Buy

    Had to call a tech in to replace the bottom freezer’s rails, the freeze is a pull out drawer. (work was done under warranty). Freezer started frosting up within a month of the purchase because the door wouldn’t shut/seal properly. Samsung’s tech support was horrible, they were unable to locate the serial number/model number of my fridge. Took them 10mins to find what fridge I had purchased. Overall, a pretty poor experience so far, except for the tech that came out to fix the issue. Do not buy!

    Measured accurately but due to the manner in which the door opens it will not open at a 90 degree angle. Very disappointed. What is the exchange/return pollicy?

      Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I see you have some concerns with the 17.5 Cu. Ft. French Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator - Stainless steel door is unble to open properly. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. Please know that we value your feedback. We will continue working on improving the quality of the products we offer.

      Allow 2.5" of clearance on the hinge side of the refrigerator when installing next to a wall where the handle may make contact. Please also allow 1" minimum clearance at the rear for proper air circulation and water/electrical connections. Allow a 3/8" minimum clearance at the sides and top for easy installation. 5. Ensure each door and entryway in the home is wide enough for the refrigerator to move through easily. Do not install them next to a wall for optimal usage and to open refrigerator doors completely.

    Smudges easly, very difficult to clean! Freezer does not open enough, it only opens half way!! Difficult to place items in it.

    I dont like that the doors dont close automatically you have to push them all the way other wise itll beep to annoy you to close them

    No space, poor design in just about every aspect. The shelves don't adjust to fit normal drink pitcher sizes. The center drawer won't open with only one side of the French doors open (about 1" too wide). The ice maker is garbage. The freezer is useless with the small bucket design. You can't even fit a standard pyrex 12" dish longways in the fridge. This fridge is complete garbage.

Still, noises from your ice maker or the compressor should never get so loud that it's interrupting a conversation.

    This is the worst refrigerator ever for space! Shelves don’t split to move to accommodate milk jugs or drink containers. I would have picked another one if I had the chance to go into a store to see them before buying. Biggest mistake ever.
