Great refrigerator. Many places I looked for a refrigerator could not get the refrigerator to their store for me to pick up for weeks. I ordered this on a Friday and we picked it up on Tuesday. Wonderful since I was using coolers to store stuff for a few days.

Ice maker does not work. Exchange in process for new Refrigerator but have to wait 2 months. Took me a long time to find proper size to fit my kitchen and the end product is a failure to me.

Stopped working the very first month, so glad bought in the holiday season so had extended return period

After only 8 months the fridge is not working. Neither the freezer nor fridge is cooling at all and the interior light just blinks.

Within less than a week, the freezer starting blowing hot air. The delivery person didn’t set the replacement fridge up. It was so hard getting the setting set.

It is not making but about 8 cubes every 24 hours. I hated my last Samsung and now I am thinking I am going to hate this one. Not happy!

Never warned by salesperson that this fridge required special water line. The cost of installing the extra water line was $1400.

This is my first stainless steel fridge and it is gorgeous in every way. The finish seems to resist fingerprints and everything works as advertised. It is smaller than the old fridge I am replacing by several inches but seems to hold more as the space is more efficient inside. However this is definitely still a smaller fridge and for a household of 2 is the absolute smallest size we would consider. If you have the space, i would recommend you go bigger as multiple other reviewers have stated it doesn't have the room to hold multiple large objects such as gallons of milk. However the space compartmentalization really helps you stay organized. I certainly enjoy having the ice chest but regret not getting the external ice/water dispenser, although this looks cleaner, it certainly is not as convenient as being able to have instant access. The freezer is definitely small though so if you like to store lots of stuff for later use, this is a major disadvantage. It is noticeably louder than my previous fridge but you don't notice unless its in the middle of the night and you are snacking when you shouldn't be. Overall it is very clean, beautiful but if you have the space I would recommend getting a bigger size, especially if you have a larger family. I am reviewing this as part of the Insiders program.

The Samsung 18 cu. ft. Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator has a clean modern appearance that looks great and gives any kitchen an upgrade. The french style makes it easy to see items stored in the refrigerator portion and bulk items stored in the freezer are accessible. The inside LED lights are bright and ensure that nothing is hidden in the dark and the door alarm is great for instances where the door may not have been completely closed if the doors aren't closed in the correct order. The adjustable shelves lend some additional space but taller items such as milk jugs and 2-liters can only fit in the door. The only issue is that carbonated drinks go flat rather quickly when stored in the door. The humidity adjustments on the storage bins work well to keep produce fresh and the sliding bin allows for additional storage for package items such as cheeses and deli meats. The freezer storage area doesn't offer much in the way for organization however smaller items do fit nicely in the upper bin. The ice maker makes eight cubes per hour which is a fair amount when supply is less than demand per hour. The only issue is that ice cubes tend to find their way behind the freezer door even without a fast motion to open or close the freezer door. It would be nice to have an water dispenser but that comes at a cost in terms of space in the refrigerator in an already compact blueprint. The compressor often times runs loud but fortunately it's not consistent. The stainless steel front does look nice but as this is fingerprint resistant, it's not fingerprint proof and are visible. The only thing that I'd change would be that this surface would be magnetic. When the refrigerator is installed between a vertical pantry and a counter, there is very little space for anything magnetic. For a family of five ample storage is a bit of a challenge but If you're looking for a compact counter-depth french style refrigerator/freezer, this is the one for you. We have had it in our house now for more than a week and here are the main things we have taken note of: Pros: - First and foremost, the outside appearance of this Samsung fridge is beautiful, this has really classed up our kitchen. - The fridge is compact but very well designed to where the space is utilized fully - The fridge got down to temperature extremely fast, I was told it would take 7-24 hours from the delivery team but it was to the recommended temps (38 degrees for the fridge and -2 degrees for the freezer) within just a couple hours! - The ice maker produces ice extremely fast, it is noticeably faster than any other ice maker I've had in the past. - The lighting and inside appearance are sleek - The "openness" in the design makes it easy to locate items and store larger items. - The noise level is incredibly low. Outside of when it was first installed and reaching temps, I have not heard it make any noticeable noise outside of when the ice is dropping in the ice bucket or water is being added to the ice maker to make more ice. - We have already noticed a drastic improvement in the quality of our food, particularly produce when storing it in this fridge. Our food is staying fresh longer and literally looks the same as when we got it from the store. This is a HUGE bonus to cut down on waste. Cons: - Height between drawers and shelves is relatively short. In all fairness, the drawers are adjustable in height but then you have to realistically take out an entire drawer thus losing that space. - Overall size is smaller than expected. This size is acceptable for our family, but my wife and I both come from large families (6 kids and 5 kids respectively) and agree this would not be big enough for a large family. Our family is a family of four, so it is perfectly suitable for our needs but it was getting pretty full when we had to prepare for a birthday party this past weekend. - The front of the fridge is not magnetic. Although I know this is obvious or expected for most people, it is something to consider as we are the typical family who likes organizing many things on our fridge. The sides suffice but for some families that would not be enough. All in all, we give this fridge a 5/5 and would absolutely recommend for anyone to buy it! We have already had several friends ask about it because of how attractive it is and are looking at it for themselves. Great overall appliance!

I received this Samsung fridge for a discounted rate from the Insiders. This fridge has a cool, sleek and modern design that does not take up that much space in the kitchen. I love the LED lighting which provides a bright clean look inside the fridge. I also like the stainless steel design. The shelves are easy to move. Overall, this fridge provides adequate space for groceries. The shelves should be a bit taller to fit more taller items on the shelves. The fan is also a bit noisy at times, but not terrible. I also disliked the way the fridge collects finger prints which is a bit annoying. Overall, a good fridge with a modern and sleek design.

Hmm... it's a refrigerator, it has 2 jobs, it cools things, it freezes things. What more does one need, right? Well as an added bonus, it even makes ice for you, not to mention it looks darn good while it's doing it's job. Speaking of cooling and freezing, it even has a power cool and power freeze function if you need to quickly cool down or quickly freeze the compartments. They are both nice little features to have. Let's say you just loaded up the fridge portion with a bunch of products that are close to room temperature, or at least warmer than the fridge temperature, and you wanted to quickly cool everything down. You just press the quick cool button and the refrigerator will power cool the refrigerator portion down to 25F or at least attempt to drop it to that temp for as long as 2 1/2 hrs before resetting back to normal temperatures. Or perhaps you need to make ice faster than normal, you hit the power freeze button and the freezer will work harder and lowering the temperature which in turns freezes the ice faster and makes more ice. nifty huh? Oh, there's also an eco button to help the refrigerator run more economically. I haven't tried that button yet to see how well it works, and I don't currently have a my refrigerator hooked up to an energy usage meter, yet, so I couldn't say how well that button actually saves energy. The french door style is pretty nice, unlike side x sides, you can actually put wide food trays, containers in the refrigerator more easily. The counter depth freezer, in my opinion, takes a little getting used to. I need to be more efficient at placing my food in there to maximize the space available. The LED lights inside the fridge and freezer are nice and economical, but boy is it bright, like seriously bright. I would have to say it's in the 6000-8000k range on the color temperature chart. Which is a bright white color that is hard on the eyes, especially if it's night and the lights are off and your eyes aren't adjusted to light yet. My suggestion would be to turn on the lights in the kitchen first and let your eyes adjust before opening, or just wear sunglasses before opening. :D What I really like though is how the temp is controlled, you get an actual digital temp reading with buttons instead of a dial, i love it. It's a nice refrigerator. It's only 18 cu ft, so I think it is perfect for apts and condo's or one to two person homes, but you can easily run out of space if it's holding food for 3+ people

I have been using this refrigerator for about six weeks now and I am so happy that I was selected for this campaign. I finally feel like I have a modern kitchen (I have ordered the remaining Samsung appliances to finish off my kitchen). I love how there are no external controls or features which helps to keep a very clean look. When I first received it I was slightly worried that it was smaller than my previous unit, 18 cu ft vs 21 cu ft, however, I found that due to the design, French door bottom freezer versus side-by-side I actually have way more room. I was slightly disappointed that it did not have a water dispenser or location for a water filter (for the ice) I am really happy with it. I installed an inline filter and have a water filet pitcher inside the fridge. I really appreciated the Fast Cool feature when I was transitioning from me old unit to the new. It helped bring the temperature down quickly and, surprisingly, without any added noise. This is another big win from Samsung.

I purchased the Stainless Steel Samsung French Door refrigerator (counter depth). This is definitely a space saving design. The finish is great no waves or ripples in the stainless. The ease or not having to looking from top to bottom to locate an item in the fridge is great. Everything is at eye level. Just one thing to remember is that with a space saving design, comes square inches/feet loss. I am glad I purchased this fridge. I would recommend this to anyone with a medium to small family size. I have reviewed this as part of the insider program.
