I am lucky to have had the chance to review this refrigerator through the official insiders program. Installation team was great and showed up on time and had me up and running quickly! This refrigerator has been great so far! With only some minor drawbacks I’m very glad I have this refrigerator! Below are my pros/cons. Pros: -The refrigerator and freezer got down to temperature super fast since I used the “power cool” and “power freeze” buttons. -The LED lights really make this appliance look beautiful to open up. -The design of this refrigerator is very sleek and modern. -I love the amount of space inside. (My old refrigerator was full and unorganized. With this refrigerator it almost looks like I have nothing in it and have so much room to spare) -The noise level of this refrigerator is almost non existent. -The twin cooling feature is definitely helpful in making sure items in the freezer do not get freezer burnt. -Freezer space looks small but actually can hold a decent amount of bulk items(think purchases from wholesale clubs in terms of size) -Everything I’ve had in both the refrigerator and freezer seem to stay fresh longer(I believe that is thanks to the twin cooling system) Cons: -The space between each glass shelf is very short. The only way to put a gallon of milk or 2 liter bottle of soda in is if you use the designated bottle bins on the door. -No real place to store condiments(I’m really OCD so this may be me) -The space between the door bins is also too short. (This makes storing condiments and anything taller than a can of soda impossible) For me this is definitely a space saving fridge with the room to store all my freezer stuff and even my refrigerated items(just not in the exact spots I’d like them). Being in a small 625 apartment I thought I would never be able to fit a decent sized refrigerator in my place but Samsung proved me wrong!

purchased June 28 2018 today Aug 3 2018 from day two having compressor issues, or at least this is what I was told when I described the very loud sounds it makes about 6 times a day. It sounded like grinding or buzz saw . My freezer is like Alaska North Pole , my frozen goods all have freezer burn and could potentially be used as defense weapons , my freezer doors are solid frozen, and frost accumulates inside door so bad!!! I read the reviews of several Samsung appliances but must have missed this one. My contractor swore by this one!! HUGE mistake !!!! What I am reading now is that Samsung is known for noises, nothing terrible . I could live with that but I didn't read anything about the other noise . I am however coming across a lot of freezer issues . and i find the same issues i am having in others reviews . now i know why I was pushed to buy this - becuase it sucks and they need to move them out! For the price it would have been an awesome deal but now I know why. if your looking for a dependable refrigerator consider another brand.

I had to buy a new refrigerator since my old one died. I liked at this one and a few others. I ended up purchasing this Samsung one. The exterior is stainless steel. It looks great. But it's a fingerprint magnet. The interior has adequate space and compartments. It would have been nice if the shelves were modular. The door panel has small shelves, so don't expect to put in an egg carton. But it it slightly wanted, so you can put in several items like condiments, sauces, jams... The freezer or bottom portion is sufficient for my needs. Overall it's a solid French door refrigerator. And Best Buy was the only store that had the item in stock for delivery. I tried other places like Home Depot but I quoted 2 months. We're in different times.

Refrigerator coils froze after owning it for less than 2 years, then again after 3 years. Have to routinely manually defrost the refrigerator. Water leaks under crisper tray and freezes. THe refrigerator is sometimes warmer than set temperature and sometimes colder than set temperature. Liquids and foods go rancid and/or freeze in refrigerator and crisper draws. The freezer is always colder than set temperature. Foods in freezer get freezer burned within a month. The power cool function randomly turns on and off for weeks at a time then stops. There is no trouble shooting assistance for the issues and no way to silence the chime when the power cool function beeps for days to weeks at a time randomly.

Received my Samsung French Door fridge today. Woohoo! I cannot express how much I am loving this new fridge, the design and the look automatically upgrades your kitchen. It has a Twin Cooling System function which is a great design as I like to stock up on vegetables and fruits for the week and with this function, it prevents it from spoiling quickly, less freezer burns which keeps my vegetables/fruits fresh longer. Another great design is the bright LED lighting as I am able to see clearly and right through what is in my fridge. Which was a problem I had previously with a different style fridge where the bulb is built in the top center and it covers all the lighting if it was blocked. So I love this bright light design. Also, there is a Power Freeze and Power Cool design which you can fast freeze your drink quickly which is also very useful in my opinion as I often forget to fridge enough drinks for parties and needed it cold quickly. And, this fridge is so spacious that I no longer have to fuss around and play Tetris with my groceries to get everything fitted. Would recommend this to anyone looking to get a new fridge!! This is the best refrigerator for small spaces period. I have been using this refrigerator for 3 weeks now and I love it. When I first ordered it I was worried that it might be too small especially since my old refrigerator was a little bit wider and deeper. However after putting in our things and using it for this time my wife and I are constantly amazed at how much it can hold. The refrigerator fits perfectly in our refrigerator space and is flush with my counter top. I also love the French door style because it allows everything to be din front of me so that nothing gets forgotten in the back. Furthermore the slide out freezer makes it very easy for us to see everything in the freezer and pull out what I need easily. The greatest feature for the refrigerator though has to be the pull out ice drawer which allows me to pull out the whole bin of ice and put in in a bowl for parties or when we have guests. The refrigerator is also very quiet, energy efficient and easy to set up and use. I highly recommend this refrigerator especially for people that have a smaller space.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the purchase of this Samsung French Door Refrigerator. Set-up was a breeze. The ice-maker is a wonderful addition and I no longer have to worry about water spilling from ice cube trays. The alarm is a great feature and has already come in handy several times due to our 8 and 4-year old leaving the refrigerator door open. The inside is wide and well lit, the dual crisper bins allow for moisture control depending on the vegetables or fruit you use. The movable fresh box/deli tray can be moved from one side to another. It is amazing to be able to slide it over and make more space depending on your needs. I would like for the shelves to allow for more height as wine bottles or a 2-liter soda will quickly take up the space on the door shelves.

Samsung - 17.5 Cu. Ft. French Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator - Stainless steel is a great option if you have limited space for a refrigerator. The capacity is good for singles, couples, and families with one or two small children. The inside will accommodate a good amount, especially if you are organized and go through items quickly. For taller items they will need to be able to go on their sides, lose a shelf in the main compartment or doors, or have one really short shelf. I like that milk jugs and water pitchers can fit in the gallon door bins. The LED lights are nice and bright. The do a fantastic job of illuminating the inside. The bottom freezer area has one pull open door but there are 2 drawers inside. The bottom level is quite short from front to back and the ice maker takes up space in the top compartment. Enough space as long is you don't like/need to do a lot of freezer storage. The Twin Cooling System cools and freezes the compartments well. The Power Freeze and Power Cool feature is very cool. Easily drop the temperature in each compartment within minutes with the push of a button to fast freeze or fast chill your food. The French doors are easy to open. The overall look is sleek and stylish. The compressor is louder than we expected. Not too loud to be a deal breaker for us, but it could be for some. This frige works well for us overall and we are happy with it. #SamsungInsiders

I bought this product about a month ago. The delivery men brought unit in house, when we bought unit we thought doors would have to be removed to get in house but unit easily made it in without moving doors. Delivery men then installed handles. Unit can be loud when compressor is on, but easy to get used to. Refrigerator is spacious along with freezer. You have to be cautious not to put too heavy items in freezer or drawer will not shut properly. I love how it has censors if doors or drawer are not shut properly, great feature with kids. Unit tends to attract finger prints, but easy to clean. Inside also easy to clean. Overall great refrigerator.

I got the Samsung - 17.5 Cu. Ft. French Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator - Stainless steel to replace our old fridge. I was a little skeptical because it was a little smaller then mine. It actually fit much better! I love the lay out of this fridge. The fact that the fridge part is french doors and the freezer is a pull out makes it super easy to put those awkward things in. (Pizza boxes, platters, trays, cakes ect...) We are always entertaining so this is super important to us. The fact that we lost about 4 cubic feet has not made any impact. I shop once a week and everything fits fine. I love that I can clearly see what is in the fridge and less food goes to waste. I also really love the led lights. The twin cooling system is super nice as all the food stays at the temp needed. The besst part is the alarm on the door! When you leave the door open (as the kids dont seem to get it closed all the time) there is a little chime that goes off to let you know its open! The ice maker seems a little slower then our old fridge, but seems to keep up with all of us! I would absolutely recommend this fridge!

I've had the pleasure of reviewing this product for The Insiders official campaign. Upon 1st glance the new Samsung French Door fridge appears to be pretty basic... and it is. With all the style and function being added to refridgerators lately, it's a little disappointing to not have any smart functions, TV or even a Bluetooth speaker built into the unit. Although it has a beautiful stainless steel finish, the style of the doors and handles are nothing different than every other fridge on the market. While the smaller footprint of the counter depth unit is appreciated for the additional square footage in the kitchen, it is definitely noticed with the lack of storage inside the unit. I'll have to purchase the smaller sized bottles of condiments in the future in order to continue storing them on the door shelves. While I like being able to easily move the "fresh box" left and right, it would have been great if the box went all the way up against the wall to allow an extra inch or 2 of storage. In contrast, there is plenty of room in the freezer. Some movable dividers would have been nice in there but not the end of the world. The customizable temperature zones are extremely effective and great for temperature sensitive foods. I also like the temperature drop alarm that alerts the user when the door is left open too long. In all, a fairly basic fridge that gets the job done

Pros - Narrow and Tall Perfect for Narrow spaces. Beautiful design interior and exterior. The LED Lights are beautiful at night and you can clearly see everything. Big enough for a family of 3. Cons - Noisy and Water Under the Crisper Drawers. Called for support today and I was advice to Unplug for 2 minutes and turn off Energy Saver and activate PowerCooling. Overall - I love my refrigerator even do is not perfect.

This fridge is the perfect size for an RV conversion. The outside vents on the RV MUST be blocked off in cold weather climates. This unit will shut down when exposed to temps below 40. The refrigerant it uses requires a controlled environment. I found out the hard way.

I purchased this a month ago and it has been a nightmare. The first unit I received caused my ice cream to be so hard that I must leave it at room temperature for 30 minutes before I can get a scoop into it. The temperature inside on the display looked normal but it was clearly much colder. I purchased a thermometer and reads the frig, freezer and room temperature and holds the mins and max of each over time. The freezer was set to 8 degrees and ranged from -16 to -29. The frig from 38 to 46. I called and talked to the customer support people and they had me do three resets, they did not work. Then they set up a replacement for me. They did this through BestBuy, where I purchased the frig. It arrived two weeks later and was clearly not new (had the handles installed already). It had the same issue but also a loud noise that sounded like a stuck solenoid, that happened two or three times a day. I have had enough. This is a design flaw and I have given up on Samsung for refrigerators. I have a cell phone and I am very happy with it. I went through Best Buy to exchange it for a GE, and hope it will do better.

We have a motorhome and this was the perfect replacement. Size is very important when replacing RV refrigerators. Particularly to get it through the door and into the rig. The delivery team (Omar & Chris) went above and beyond expectation, removing doors from fridge, bringing it in, and replacing the doors. And wow what a much nicer fridge than the original Norcold. Very pleased with the product and the service.

This is a excellent French Door Refrigerator from Samsung. The one of the most impressive feature of the refrigerator is the twin cooling which keeps the fridge smelling good and cools everything great. The freezer is a little small but the ice maker in the freezer is awesome. Like the fact that our small kids can reach into the fridge. This is a review from the #SamsungInsiders

It fits nicely into the space we had, but I was disappointed that we couldn't pull the freezer drawer out far enough to get things in the back portion without tipping. When it comes to ice cube trays (we don't have it connected to the ice maker), that means water may spill. Five weeks after the warranty expired, the handle came off one side on the freezer drawer. Really disappointed and annoyed that I have to deal with this the night before back to school.
