Check the reviews on Amazon before you buy this model. I must assume that that positive reviews were written before the customers owned the refrigerator for very long. The design of the drain line from the condenser is defective. It freezes up and pools water inside the refrigerator, eventually causing damage and impairing the function of the refrigerator. It’s not really a malfunction in the classic sense. The problem is entirely predictable and occurs because Samsung does not address the defect or disseminate instructions for fixing it. I really cannot imagine that anyone who buys this refrigerator does not eventually experience this problem. Just google the model number. You’ll see.

Stopped cooling and freezing after only three year

I thought I may have left the freezer open, but now it won't cool or freeze. Lost all my food. I called a service provider and they said they don't work on Samsung because they don't get any technical support and the units are known to have compressor issues.
