Perfect for our condo. Reading the manual prepared me for certain frig sounds to expect to hear occasionally. No problem there. Plenty of freezer space & frig space.

Samsung refrigerator

So far, the control panel is annoying. I cannot figure out if the ice maker is turned back on. The book it came with tells you how to turn it off but not how to make sure it is back on. I turned it off to stop it from making new ice every time I took a single cube out. Turned it back on yesterday and no ice yet. Between big box stores taking 2 weeks to deliver and Best Buy having only 1 fridge under 68” tall, I had no choices. If I didn’t have a dead fridge, I could have waited for a whirlpool . How do I get this ice maker work?

After 2 days second one developed a rattling, clicking sound when compressor was running--every 20 minutes. Samsung sent a Dish repair man who said he could do nothing because it did not meet the 45 decibel requirement from Samsung. Of course after he left it got louder. LOL. He also said Samsung would not send another service person and I should use my Geek Squad protection plan for further problems. Needless to say no more Samsung products for me. Just told my daughter who is in the market for a new fridge to stay away from Samsung!

However, we're not so thrilled with it to give it anything more than an average rating. We don't really use the Dual Zone feature, it would probably be more useful if the refrigerator could double as a freezer, as opposed to the other way around. Some quirks that we don't like are: 1. the interior shelf positions are limited to certain fixed positions, 2. the refrigerator makes quirky noises and we don't even have the ice maker installed, 3. the top is not flush so you can't lay something completely flat on top of the fridge, 4. the instruction manual is pretty poorly written.

Do not have it connected to the water line and have no use for ice but I am unable to turn the ice maker off. The old ones all you needed to do was lift the fill arm and it would stop Now I have to listen to the noise of the ice maker trying to fill. Very noisy.

The Samsung has exceeded all expectations and I have the capacity I need, and the options, which makes this an excellent purchase.
