Bought this fridge a few years ago. Best decision ever.

Well what can you say about samsung’ s my fridge is 3 years old (has geeksquad) and the compressor is bad. There is a leak somewhere so all the freon leaked out and the compressor kept running till we noticed it sounded like it was going to explode. I have now been living out of a dorm room fridge for a week with no tell tale sign of when they will figure out what they are going to do with it.

We use it as a second fridge but has worked flawless since buying it. The top freezer being able to change from freezer to fridge is a nice feature we have had to use a couple times.

Wow this is beautiful! Bought it online so didn't see it til it was delivered - the way the handles are hidden gives it a lovely sleek modern look. Inside is spacious, lights are great, is quiet. I just love it - seems like it's made very well.

Nice fridge with tons of features. Black color is nice. Sadly it started not cooling and leaking about 3 years in then failed after the watranty period. Didnt want yo waste time getting serviced over and over so i purchaed another.

Great refrigerator replaced. I was limited by the width I could fit so this fridge at 28.5" was perfect. Runs very quiet compared with the 22 year old fridge I replaced.

Loved this refridge until it started gurgling then the temp would not go below 40 degrees. Customer service called from another country and I could not hear or understand a word. Then I received an email for dummies (really..is your refridge plugged in!) submitted ANOTHER service request and they were 2 weeks out. Not happy with this brand of refridgerator or their customer service.

Great fridge. good space. honestly, better suited for maybe 2 or 3 in the household.

Bought this fridge in 2019. Fridge was great for the first 4 years but this year the fridge started acting up and temperatures would fluctuate between 35 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. We had an appliance tech come out and look at it multiple times but could only find that the power board to the control panel was only working partially. Replaced that and the fridge is still having the same issue. At this point I decided I will need to buy a new fridge instead of investing in parts that would be almost worth half the fridge price. I do NOT recommend this fridge and if you do buy it then make sure you get the 5 year warranty that best buy offers.

We just got an apartment and this fridge is perfect for our narrow kitchen, installation took less than 5min and it looks beautiful

We bought this refrigerator in May 2021, freezer failed in February and we had to pay a Samsung technician $140 just to see it because it’s out of warranty. Now we’re in March and it’s now freezer and fridge are not cooling, very frustrating to see such an early model fail like this, certainly not expected given typical refrigerator lasting 10+ years with Whirlpool or Kenmore - Don’t buy this brand and save headaches.

Absolutely terrible. Do not buy. Digital inverter compressor that supposedly has a ten year warranty quit working after five years. Samsung refuses to service the unit unless I pay an upfront service fee that exceeds the total cost of the refrigerator. Samsung’s warranty is fraudulent and their products are completely worthless. You should avoid and literally buy anything but this.

Nice fridge great size for the money and east to keep clean

STAY AWAY from this fridge! Samsung appliances are the WORST! I got this fridge and a washer/dryer combo from them for my airbnb and after less than 3 years both broke down. The fridge costs $700 and the fix to make it cool things again costs $360! And after several months the same issue happens, and they say I need to pay again! I'm a 5-star hosts and the only bad review I got was because of the fridge not working. It's beyond a headache now.

I purchased this in October of 2018. 3 years later the Fridge section started having sporadic temreture- sometimes it would freeze everything, other times it would jsut stop working at all, and then start again in a few days. Now March 2024 the fridge is dead. No issues with the freezer though

I bought this fridge for my mom on Dec 2018 after reading the comments, the good ratings, and in general, the Samsung name. I was not able to see the fridge in person. I specifically asked on a Best Buy chat if the ice maker can removed. I also read someone's comment saying that it can be. When the delivery man unscrewed the ice maker, it left a hole with wires. So he said to call BB for the plate to cover the ice maker. I called BB and they directed me to call Samsung who told me there is no plate. I have to buy from an outside vendor. This is not the reason for the 0 rating (if I could have given it zero). The problem is the glass shelves. The shelves have a plastic rim. They CAN NOT be taken off. As a result, all the spillage and crud are trapped in there. I was cleaning the fridge for my mom and the spillage that seeped in can't be cleaned out. This is especially a problem with the glass shelve on top of the drawers. There was dried spillage that I had to use a knive to get under the plastic encasing so that water can run in to dissolve the crud. I can't understand how someone can design a product like this. BIG FAT ZERO for this fridge. SHAME on you SAMSUNG for a terrible design.
