Didn't work out for me

I bought the HDMI cord and the optical cord... got directions and tried everything but could not get the sound to come out of the bar!... maybe my tv was a little too old... I don't know... I went into every setting... anyway... finally gave up and returned the bar.... still can't hear the TV well...wah! But I don't blame the product

Big sound for a little bar

However the sound quality is very good for the size. Bass booming sound was not the goal with this purchase. It was to provide louder and a lot better audio out of the TV. If you are looking for basic sound improvement, this works really well for the price without a sub in the way.
