Product does have some wires. Wake up next to the speaker on the TV wirelessly. Seems to work. I got it on sale so I think I got a good deal. I’m sure there are more expensive systems out there but for my home needs, it works fine.

The only issue I have is I purchased this item as new. When I opened the box, the plastic bags were already torn open. I decided to hook them up to see if I would have the same problems as others who reviewed this item. I did not. I wanted to exchange them or get the opened box price. Unfortunately, I got sick before I could take them back.
