Customers are saying
Customers regard the sound quality of the 2.0-Channel Wireless Rear Speaker Kit with Surround Sound as amazing and a great improvement over the original speakers. The easy setup process is also widely appreciated. However, some customers have concerns about the low volume, lack of true wireless connectivity, compatibility issues, occasional syncing problems, and small speaker size.

Completes the sound bar
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think these speakers are pretty good overall but honestly they should be about $20 less. That aside I really like them but only in a small room mounted close to your sitting space they will not work well in a living room. In my small bedroom mounted right behind the head of my bed they work very well and complete the system. I don’t like the fact they have to connect to a box with wires though and that’s why I’d say they should only cost $100.

You get what you pay for
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased these speakers to support my soundbar/subwoofer in my living room. ***The Good*** The setup was very easy as the instructions in the manual simplify everything. ***The Bad*** The sound volume of these speakers is very low. I have turned the volume up as high as possible on the soundbar settings to no avail. The sound quality of these speakers is very "tinny". The actual speaker cabs and cone are very small - this might not matter to some. ***The Ugly*** The sound keeps cutting off on these speakers. Almost as if the connectors in the back of the speaker dont have good contacts. I have tried everything possible to ensure the connectors are seated well - it still randomly cuts out then back in. For sanity, I connected the speakers to my computer monitor set up (excellent quality speaker wire) and the sound never cut out. The problem is the actual speaker wire that comes with the set its too flimsy. Ill be returning this bundle.

Samsung Wireless rear speakers
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have the Samsung sound bar and subwoofer compatible with my Samsung TV. I want to add rear speakers. Nothing wrong with this kit but it didn't deliver the sound I am looking for so I returned it. I'm picky on the sound and I might have to go to a whole different set up to get what I'm looking for. I truly love Samsung TVs but I'm not sold on the sound systems. Asking would I recommend, kit doesn't work for me but it is a quality product that I would recommend for the right set up.

Samsung Bookshelf Speaker
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these speakers thinking they were bigger, surround sound. Once I re-read the description, they are bookshelf speakers. They work alright, could be louder- I was just looking for a little extra sound since the TV is farther away. The speakers themselves are wired, but wireless to the soundbar. Ill keep it but not my favorite.

Don't add a lot...watch for plastic sheath on wire
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. If you buy a great soundbar, the rear speakers don't seem to add much. Note that the tower is wireless, but the speakers are wired to the tower. At first, no sound coming out of them, but solid blue connection. Called support, no assistance, suggested returning the product. Exchanged the product to have the same issue...after significant searching on YouTube, found a 45 second video telling me to look for the plastic sheath on the wires when plugging into the back of the speakers and verify that wasnt where the connection was.... back the wires out a bit for a good connection on the wires - and there was sound. I was disappointed I had gone through support and the exchange before finding this simple video with a simple fix. So three stars are because they're not completely wireless, they don't add much to sound with a good soundbar and support was no help.

Posted .Hi SoSoPurchase!
Thank you for purchasing the Samsung SWA-9100S Wireless Rear Speaker Kit and for your review. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts about the quality and wireless description of the rear speakers.
Occasionally, customers have trouble hiding and running speaker wires from the front of the room (where their soundbar is) to the back of their room (where they have their rear speakers). The Rear Speaker Kit eliminates that hassle. Connect the rear speakers to its wireless module and place these three in the back of your room. One wire is required to connect each rear speaker to the wireless module. Then plug in the power cable to the module. The “wireless” convenience is in connecting your soundbar and any other speakers at the front of the room to the rear speakers – this can now be done via Wi-Fi through the wireless module, eliminating any clutter of long wires running the length of your room.
By design, the surround speakers are supposed to simulate sounds happening behind the viewer. Therefore, most of the time the surround channels are only used for ambient sounds, which are naturally lower in volume.
However, there are a few settings you can change to adjust the surround effect to your preference:
1) Make sure that the source (e.g. TV output) is sending surround channels to the Soundbar. If the source is not capable of surround, then set the Surround mode to OFF on the Soundbar by pressing the Surround button on the remote.
2) If the source has surround channels, select the desired Sound Mode from the Soundbar remote.
3) Turn off Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holding the Sound Mode button while the Soundbar is in standby mode. Depending on your soundbar model, you may or may not have DRC.
4) Increase the volume level of the surround speakers using the Sound Control button on the Soundbar remote control. Press the Sound Control button on the soundbar remote (looks like a gear), then select REAR LEVEL and use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range.
I hope these tips help to enhance your audio enjoyment.

Not really “wireless”
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a wireless system, but not really. You still need cables to hook the speaker to the wireless receiver. The cables that come with it are very short which is disappointing.

||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was a great addition to my Samsung home theater setup. Set it up correctly
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read a few reviews that said the soundbar overpowered these speakers. Once you have them set up you need to adjust the number on the other speakers to a much lower number. Raise the rear speakers to 6+. You will probably need to turn the volume up since you adjusted the other ones. If you do that, it will make these stand out more.

Affordable wireless rear speaker
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Small size speaker than expected but could listen to powerful sound. Well connected wirelessly with soundbar. But these dual speakers should be connedted with wireless receiver 'with the wire'. You need to conseal speaker line under wall molding at the bottom.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Sounds very clear. I like Pink Floyd and Skinny Puppy so I had to add the rear speakers. Otherwise their audio sculptures woudn't look as full. I'm still tweeking and dialing them in, hoping for more volume. They're in a small room so I'll keep them for now.

Posted .Hi Speecursed,
Your experience is important to us, and this isn’t what we’d like to hear. Please try a few troubleshooting steps, as this may improve your sound quality:
You can adjust the volume of the rear speakers by using the remote included with the connected soundbar. Press the Sound Control button on the soundbar remote (looks like a gear), then select REAR LEVEL and use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range.
Additionally, make sure that the source (e.g. TV output) is sending surround channels to the Soundbar. If you are using a format such as PCM, you may experience decreased volume to the rear speakers.
Select Samsung Soundbars allow you to enable or disable Dynamic Range Control. You can try turning off DRC by pressing and holding the Sound Mode button while the Soundbar is in standby mode.
I hope these tips help! Should you ever have questions or need help, please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (ask for Soundbars), available 8AM - 12AM EST, 7 days a week.
