Quiet out of the box but a quick fix
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good product for the price. A little quiet out of the box. To increase the volume to max, click the gear until the sound bar says rear level (it’s right after rear speakers which confused me) and use the up and down on the wheel to increase the volume not the paddles at the bottom of the remote. Hope that helps someone trying to figure it out.

A Great Product but Not Very Flexible
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This was super-easy to setup with my compatible soundbar, however, I was still left a bit disappointed by the flexibility of the product. If you live in a small place and want surround sound, this is definitely the product for you. However, I have a big living room, and was looking to use this to power my in-ceiling speakers, but it doesn't have a powerful enough signal to power stronger speakers, so you are stuck with the two provided rear satellite speakers. Again, they are great for smaller areas, just not large living spaces.

Exactly what I was after, finally…
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Wonderful sound to compliment my sound bar. Won’t go into how many versions I had to buy because someone system had the wrong compatibility, but product wise, everything I could hope for. So good to hear all the action again whereas the soundbar often muffled the voice behind the BGM if all it had were the fronts.

Easy setup and channel expansion for Q-series
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easily paired with the HW-Q70T soundbar system I purchased these for. The provided wires from the wireless receiver that connect to the speakers are very long so positioning the speakers is not likely to be limited unless you are putting them in a massive room. I have seen others complain that they thought these were too quiet, which I haven't found to be the case. Output is very dependent on the source media actually providing volume to the side/rear channels themselves, most audio tracks use the side/rear channels for light ambient noise and occasional content which is typically quiet to begin with. Setting them up through a windows PC atmos/surround settings menu they easily played loud. I suspect most who have complained about their volume weren't using good source media to begin with.

Easy and satisfying upgrade
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very simple upgrade to my soundbar. Had to read the manual to figure how to sync it. The long speaker wires and mounting screw holes on the back of the speakers made placing them very easy. Make sure your soundbar is compatible with these.

Okay
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Small speakers, not particularly impressive, but I guess they work okay. I need to find a spot where they are more out of the way.

COMPLETE JOKE
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these rear speakers because the Samsung site stated that these speakers were compatible with my Samsung soundbar ( HW-Q600A/ZA) but they don't seem to pair that well. They continiously disconnect every three to five minutes and it changest the soundbar settings back to the original default settings that come out of the box each time which is completely unacceptable and a real headache! The volume on the speakers is beyond weak and super low. You can adjust the volume to 6 or lower it to negative 12 on the soundbar menu for the rear speakers but it does not make a difference in the volume either way. You need hearing aids to notice any difference in volume. I bought these speakers to improve the sound of my soundbar but they really do not add any improvement whatsoever. It's like the speakers are not even there. SO NOT WORTH ANY MONEY since they make zero difference unless you feel like readjusting your settings every three minutes.

Posted .Hi PeterKearins,
Thank you for purchasing the Samsung SWA-9100S Rear Speaker Kit. We appreciate you sharing your feedback on having some trouble setting up your new rear speakers.
Use the color-coded speaker wires to connect the SWA-9100S rear speakers to its wireless module and place these three in the back of your room. Plug the wireless receiver module power cord into an electrical outlet and into the wireless receiver module to turn on the wireless receiver module.
Turn off your soundbar and press the Up button on the remote for 5 seconds. The ID SET message will appear on the soundbar for a short time and then disappear. After the ID SET process, the soundbar power is automatically turned on. The LINK LED indicator stops blinking and glows a solid blue when a connection is established between the soundbar and the wireless receiver module.
If the LED light is solid blue, the rear speakers are connected to your soundbar.
If the LED light is blinking blue, the module is in standby status:
• Check to see if your soundbar is turned on
• Turn off the soundbar by pressing the power button on the main soundbar unit. Configure "ID SET" using the soundbar's remote control, then turn the soundbar back on.
If the LED light is red, the connection attempt failed.
• Check to see if your soundbar is turned on
• Press the ID SET button on the back of the wireless receiver module with a pen tip for 5-6 seconds until the LED indicator blinks blue
By design, the surround speakers are supposed to simulate sounds happening behind the viewer. Therefore, most of the time the surround channels are only used for ambient sounds, which are naturally lower in volume.
However, there are a few settings you can change to adjust the surround effect to your preference:
1) Make sure that the source (e.g. TV output) is sending surround channels to the Soundbar. If the source is not capable of surround, then set the Surround mode to OFF on the Soundbar by pressing the Surround button on the remote.
2) If the source has surround channels, select the desired Sound Mode from the Soundbar remote.
3) Turn off Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holding the Sound Mode button while the Soundbar is in standby mode. Depending on your soundbar model, you may or may not have DRC.
4) Increase the volume level of the surround speakers using the Sound Control button on the Soundbar remote control. Press the Sound Control button on the soundbar remote (looks like a gear), then select REAR LEVEL and use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range.
I hope these tips help to enhance your audio enjoyment.

Love it
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Adds the two rear speakers to the wireless sound bar giving me great room immersion for my gaming. These little speakers can easily fill up sound in an office/bedroom or even living room. connecting it was a breeze and they never have any problem reconnecting instantaneously on power on.

Awesome add on for my sound bar downstairs
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this for my downstairs living room since my Atmos sound bar did sound right to me without rear speakers. This was an awesome add on to my downstairs living room. You can't beat the price is if you can find an open-box excellent deal.

Very nice
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I added these to the matching soundbar/sub combo. I have this complete set up in my living room as well as my bedroom. Sounds great in both rooms. I cant really picture having a room where i spend significant time and not having these rears set up with the soundbar/sub in the future.
