I have this complete set up in my living room as well as my bedroom. Sounds great in both rooms. I cant really picture having a room where i spend significant time and not having these rears set up with the soundbar/sub in the future.

These offer a great addition to the current soundbar and sub setup. Of course, they are not super loud, but that is not what they are designed to do. This adds the "surround" sound needed behind where you normally sit.

I'm not sure what the complaints are about. I got these open box for $104 and i think they are worth every penny. I cant speak for other soundbars paired with these speakers. They have plenty of sound. Are they true wireless, no. Im honestly tired of people complaining about it, do the research. Docking it a star because the speaker inputs are really finicky. Other than that just buy it

I got them on sale for $100. They are quiet at the start. You have to change the settings on your sound bar. I have mine at +2 or +4. +6 is what others say but make sure you change this setting. 0 is too quiet.

Please know, there are various settings you can adjust to improve your experience with the rear speakers. You can adjust the volume of the rear speakers by using the remote included with the connected soundbar. Press the Sound Control button on the soundbar remote (looks like a gear), then select REAR LEVEL and use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range.
Additionally, make sure that the source (e.g. TV output) is sending surround channels to the Soundbar. If you are using a format such as PCM, you may experience decreased volume to the rear speakers.
Select Samsung Soundbars allow you to enable or disable Dynamic Range Control. You can try turning off DRC by pressing and holding the Sound Mode button while the Soundbar is in standby mode.

Your tv has to be set to 5.1 to be able to support these. But they sound really really good

Set up is a breeze

This could be likely to the fact that I'm simply using the BT capability and I haven't explored if BT will transmit signal necessary to produce accurate 5.1 sound quality.

By design, the surround speakers are supposed to simulate sounds happening behind the viewer. Therefore, most of the time the surround channels are only used for ambient sounds, which are naturally lower in volume. However, there are a few settings you can change to adjust the surround effect to your preference:
1) Make sure that the source (e.g. TV output) is sending surround channels to the Soundbar. If the source is not capable of surround, then set the Surround mode to OFF on the Soundbar by pressing the Surround button on the remote.
2) If the source has surround channels, select the desired Sound Mode from the Soundbar remote.
3) Turn off Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holding the Sound Mode button while the Soundbar is in standby mode. Depending on your soundbar model, you may or may not have DRC.
4) Increase the volume level of the surround speakers using the Sound Control button on the Soundbar remote control. Press the Sound Control button on the soundbar remote (looks like a gear), then select REAR LEVEL and use the Up/Down buttons to adjust the volume within a -6 to +6 range.
