Improvement to TV speakers

The clear voice setting is not particularly helpful, which is a feature I really could use. However, I was not willing to go the extra $100 or so to get a 3.1 soundbar. This soundbar is not very impressive (maybe in a smaller room). But it is an improvement over the TV speakers and is gives some surround sound output for some content. Turning the TV on/off also turns the speakers turn on and off which is convenient. The DISH remote controls the volume, but the TV remote doesn't which is not convenient when using a DVD or streaming service. I'm content with the performance at this price point.

I bought this on sale to replace an insignia that just wasn't that good. This is such an updgrade! Easy to hook up...The sound on my youtube music sounds so full...I can really hear the deep bass drums now. Love listening to For King and Country videos with it since you get the full range of all their drums! The digital readout on the front is so nice because you can easily see the volume and sound mode settings when you change them. This is some of the best money spent in a long time! So happy with it!

Bass is Poor

Do not expect strong bass when listening to music. The sub puts out barely any sound whatsoever. Spent an hour on the phone with Samsung trying to resolve the situation, but the best she could tell me to do is turn up the bass levels and the sub level on the remote. A faction better. If you are looking for center channel clarity, though, it's pretty good. Speech is easy to understand. I can't give higher than 3 stars due to the poor, poor bass, though. ESPECIALLY for the price.

I connected it with an HDMI cable and fine tuned the sound settings in the TV, which makes for awesome sound quality.

They're only using the stereo feature but the sound output is decent and easy to operate.
