Great Piece of Equipment

I've had the geek squad out, but I knew more about the connection than they did!

Not as good as I hoped

Posted .Thank you for purchasing the Samsung Soundbar. I am sorry to hear that you had difficulties with your unit.
A possible cause may be that the Soundbar is not placed with the SAMSUNG logo facing up towards the ceiling. If you position the soundbar with the logo facing up, you will see the display/status panel and the speakers will be facing outward. (Refer to product photos on BestBuy.com and zoom in on the photos) If you have incorrectly placed the soundbar with the display side down and the SAMSUNG logo perpendicular to the floor, you will experience muffled or low quality sound because the unit will be resting on the speakers.

Adequate soundbar

A common misunderstanding and cause of mediocre sound is that customers are not placing the soundbar with the SAMSUNG logo facing up towards the ceiling. Horrible!

On my 5th!!!!! Sound bar that still does not work

Set up seemed easy and straightforward. My only complaint is that, depending on how you choose to connect the system, you can only turn it on or off with the tv. Not both.

Great for smaller room, buy the 4.1 for large room
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very easy to set up and syncs with the TV perfectly, BUT I also have Samsung sound Bars in other rooms that have the end speakers like the 4.1 and the 9.1 and the surround is MUCH better. If you are up to paying the $499 for this, if you have a large space pay up for the 4.1 at $629. It will be worth it.
