In fact it did not sound louder even when turned it up. I returned it I’ll go with one that has better sound. Or see if they still carry the older one I had. That was a Samsung. Could be it was just a bad one. I love Samsung products I have a TV Made by same Company

Thank you for your review of this Samsung Soundbar System. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing unwanted echo.
The echo you are hearing is probably either of two things:
1. The Soundbar is set to Surround mode. To confirm, press the SURROUND button on the Soundbar remote to change the setting.
Or
2. The TV speakers are outputting sound at the same time as the Soundbar. To fix this, set the TV’s speakers volume to minimum (0) or MUTE.
