First, I connected by an optical cable with the TV, I was not getting enough bass. Then I connected with the HDMI cable and, the sound totally changed. In addition I am getting more bass and equlizer control from the TV. I recommend connect by a HDMI cable with the TV if possible.

It stopped working a month after I purchased it. I've tried everything - new HDMI cable, unplugged power and all cables, different HDMI port, checked for firmware updates - and my TV no longer recognizes the sound bar via HDMI. I am using it with a BT connection now.
