Please check the connection between the Soundbar and other source devices, and try the following tips that may help improve the volume level.
1. If the Soundbar is connected to a TV thru HDMI, make sure to use the HDMI-ARC jack on the TV and select “External speakers” as the TV sound output.
2. Check the audio output format sent to the Soundbar. Typical options are PCM, Dolby Digital, and Bitstream. Select the option that optimizes the sound from your source.
3. Change the SOUND MODE on the Soundbar using the Soundbar’s remote. Choices are STANDARD, MUSIC, CLEAR VOICE, SPORTS, or MOVIE. Select the appropriate mode for the individual room acoustics.
4. Turn on Dynamic Range Control. This is done by pressing and holding the SOUND MODE button on the remote control while the Soundbar is in standby mode.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Just purchased the Samsung sound bar with 7" woofer two days ago. Paired with 65" Samsung KS8000 tv. This sound bar was definitely an improvement over the TV's speakers. One, you can definitely hit higher volumes with the sound bar. Two, you can hear content that was not audible before (I was watching a commercial and heard background music and couldn't figure out where it was coming from...and then realized it was just part of the commercial, but had never heard it before through the TV speakers). Three, the woofer definitely added a deeper sound that you could not achieve with just the TV speakers. Four, you can pair the sound bar with your phone and play your music through it. The sound is not hi-fi if you are an audiophile, but certainly more than adequate for a non-critical listening experience (I think a lot of the "bad" sound can be attributed to listening to the source material, i.e. mp3's), for example if you have a group of people over and want background music. It seems to get plenty loud and could probably reach levels where your guests are annoyed that they have to really raise their voices to have a conversation. I have it set up in an open floor-plan room that is 16' x 19' with 12 foot ceilings and definitely fills the room. You can control the treble and bass as well as the volume of the subwoofer. The sound bar has four drivers (speakers). It seems to have two tweeters and two mids. I'm still playing with the settings, but for the most part the sound bar sounds good even without a lot of tweaking. So far, no issues with the bluetooth pairing with the subwoofer. Some minor cutting out when paired to my phone from about 15 feet away while streaming AmazonMusic, but not sure if that was the WiFi connection issue or BT issue. Seems that I can control volume with the Verizon remote (although it is odd because it controls both the TV volume and the sound bar volume at the same time). BTW it is best if you turn the TV volume all the way down, otherwise you may hear a slight echo effect.

Too many issues

I think my old samsung sound bar sounds better too
