    Bought this and set it up for my in-laws. Using it with an HDMI cord makes the TV hook-up and volume function seemless. The strange thing is that the HDMI connection to a TV isn't documented in the manual. I'm baffled by that. Nevertheless, hookup the soundbar's HDMI OUT to your TV's HDMI and they'll do a seemless handshake.

    I recommend this setup if you're looking to enhance the sound on an older tv. This isn't "movie quality" and except for the bass, sounds very much like the speakers in my new Samsung tv. For what I paid, it was a good deal. It tends to un-pair with ththe Samsung tv a lot, but unplugging it from the wall seems to help.

    Works well with my Samsung TV and sounds great for the price I paid. I have it hooked to a smart power strip, so every time the tv shuts off, it cuts power to this soundbar. The only thing I do not like about this is that when the power comes back on, the sound bar also powers up. I like to control it manually.

    Pretty happy with my purchase. Overall good performance and plenty loud for my apartment. Connected with the included cable is recommended as the wireless connection can act up at times. Connecting to your iPhone is pretty easy but it seems if you use your phone for other things while streaming music can make it a bit choppy.
