poor sound

Thank you for purchasing the Samsung K450 Soundbar. I am sorry to hear that you were not happy with sound quality.
A common misunderstanding is that customers are not placing the soundbar with the SAMSUNG logo facing up towards the ceiling. If you position the soundbar with the logo facing up, you will see the display/status panel and the speakers will be facing outward. If you have incorrectly placed the soundbar with the display side down and the SAMSUNG logo perpendicular to the floor, you will experience muffled or low quality sound because the unit will be resting on the speakers.

Works great at first. Then a nightmare

After about 15 months of use, the hdmi arc stopped working/ no connection to tv. Tried power cycling and change hdmi cables. No help. Samsung customer service is HORRIBLE. I understand things go bad but Samsung should have better customer service. Seems like this is a common problem others are having as well.

Poor Pairing with subwoofer

After that the subwoofer failed to stay paired with the main soundbar. Samsung paid for the shipping but I had to pay the $38 for packaging since I threw away the box. For this product I suggest spending the money for Best Buy's extended warranty. If not at least keep the box so you don't have to pay like I did.

Could Never Get it to Work

Their final suggestion was to replace the unit and doing that still didn't fix my issue. I eventually ended up replacing it with an LG unit which worked straight out of the box

(Refer to product photos on BestBuy.com and zoom in on the photos) It is not uncommon that customers instead are placing the bar with the logo facing them (instead of up), which results in the display being face-down on the table, hidden from sight and thus not showing that the unit is on. The unit will also not respond to the remote control.

no support from samsung

Thought it was the specific movie or music I was putting. Returned the original soundbar and had the same issues with the new one on the same sidebar. I returned both. Still looking for a good sound bar.
