I was replacing a sound bar that didn't have a woofer. No regrets. Sounds great and was so easy to set up. Hooked up 1 optical cable, plugged it and the woofer in and the wireless woofer sync'd itself. You can download the Samsung app and even turn your smartphone into a remote control. Streams music via Bluetooth. Great unit.

Have three large screen TVs and noticed the sound was far from,adequate. Purchased this sound bar last year and the revised 2016 model recently., Noticed a slight improvement with the newer model. And of course a vast improvement over the sound produced by just the TV. Easy connection thru fiber digitital cable which produces crisp sound.

Got the sound bar on sale at Christmas. It adds a lot of depth to my TV viewing experience. Good bass and volume. The sound bar has various settings for movies, sports, music, and voice. The controls are easy to use. I plan on getting the remote satellite speakers (an accessory for this item) for a 4 speaker experience.

I got the soundbar to go with my new 55" curved screen TV, mostly to enhance the sound for movies. It's great for everything, though. Outside noise not infrequently interferes with my TV enjoyment, but this unit pushes through that, without having to have it deafeningly loud. Easy to use, unobtrusive, very good sound.

I had been wanting to purchase a soundbar for a while, and purchased this one along with a Samsung tv on a black Friday deal. I like the sound quality. The speaker make a huge difference on movies, games, and even plain tv. I use it to listen to music or watch music videos too. Great sound quality/bass on the subwoofer.

You would have to spend 3X the amount, minimum, to honestly get something better. Our neighbors already filed a complaint with the management company claiming we were hammering in the apartment because of the bass alone. I bought this as "open box" and it unpacked as brand new. I totally trust Best Buy Open Box deals.

We were skeptical- but pleasantly surprised! We needed it for our basement television because it's so big the sound got lost in the Space. This is an awesome purchase! We didn't want to spend a lot and actually was more than we wanted to spend but there was a huuuuuge difference in quality when you hear them at the store

I tested three Samsung sound bars at the store and liked the sound of this one even more than the next more expensive model which was a 3.1 design. I connected it using the supplied optical cable to my 2010 model Samsung TV with no problems. The sound is fantastic compared to the builtin speakers and the bass is great.
