i bought this after reading all the mixed reviews. i must say i'm glad i purchased it. it sounds really well. it has enough bass for me and i like a lot of bass. you can also adjust the output of the sub woofer which is good. It would easily improve the sound in a medium size room with good bass. overall this was a good buy for a good price on black friday.

Awesome sound from a soundbar. It was way more than I expected. I love that you get sound quality without having to run a bunch of wires. The soundbar was also easily mounted under my tv with the addition of soundbar mounting brackets. Also love the wifi feature. The bluetooth feature is also awesome. I downloaded an app on my phone that lets me use my phone as a remote!

Easy to set up. Lots of features and surround choices ( theater, bass, cenimatic, etc. Easily bluetooth your phone to play music on the sound bar. Play auxiliary, tv, bluetooth, etc. I also like how the digital scrolling readout looks on sound bar when powering up or changing options. Comes with remote which integrates easily and easy to use as well.

I bought this soundbar system for my bedroom. It's exactly what I was expecting, easy set-up, decent sound and bluetooth capabilities. I wasn't looking for top of the line, just something to give the surround sound feel. There are better soundbar systems but whatever you are watching sounds good, clear dialog and as much or as little base you want from the sub.

We had bought a new Samsung TV and the sound quality from the TV speakers was poor, as expected. So we decided to stick with Samsung products to be consistent, and the sound from this unit is amazing! We did have to calibrate the subwoofer a little bit to our liking. but we loved that the sound bar connects to the TV via bluetooth - less cords showing!

This is the first sound bar I have ever owned. I have been a 5.1 surround sound guy for 20 years. I don't know if it is old age, crummy equipment, or not knowing how to tune my system, but I always have trouble hearing voices. This thing sounds better than surround setup, and only for $140. I was pleasantly surprised that my Samsung TV automatically connected to this. My TV and sound bar sits about 20 feet from the couch. I placed the subwoofer next to the couch. I couldn't tell from everything I was reading if the subwoofer needs to be wired to it. Luckily, the sound bar and subwoofer talk wirelessly to each other regardless of the TV make/model you own. I wish the subwoofer would fit underneath my couch.
Bluetooth on my iPhone doesn't seem to have a very good distance. There is a wall and bathroom between my hallway and my TV. BT cuts out when carrying my phone into the hallway. it would be 5 stars if it had better range. Other than that, BT sounds great when the phone is in the same room.

Found this system to meet all my needs, though the sound may not be considered high fidelity, it is much much better than the sound that the television produces. I also like that I'm able to easily connect my smartphone to it via bluetooth and to have it turn on/off with my television remote control. Overall for the price point I'm really quite happy with it.

I have an apartment with a small living room and this soundbar system is perfect. I have a Samsung TV and it connects automatically when I turn it on. I have also connected my iPod via Bluetooth. The subwoofer is almost too much for an apartment with a shared wall with a neighbor, so anyone who likes heavy bass should be pleased with the sound.

Good Black Friday deal for basic 2.1 sound bar. Woofer is very good; can feel it. Not as dynamic and full range as higher-end systems but does the job. Bluetooth access is a plus for streaming music from phone/tablet. Works well with either digital optical or HDMI ARC connection. Don't bother with surround sound button because it does not make a difference.

It's a really nice sounding sound bar & sub I have to admit I was expecting a little better it lacks with the bass you have to turn the volume almost all the way up to get it to really rumble it's really more like loud tv than home theater it says 300 watts I don't think so my insignia sound bar & sub is more bassy with only 60 watts but the sound and clarity is much better on the samsung than the insignia also the connection is better only if insignia can improve the sub connection it would be on point the signal drops out to the sub which makes it annoying when watching good action movies but no connection issues with the Samsung it's loud crisp clear and consistent overall the Samsung sound bar is good but not great but still better than the tv speakers I'm just used to my older 5.1 surround sound system by Samsung which had a 1000 watts it went out after about 7 years so I decided to try the soundbar & sub its more convenient than running alot of wires and setting up speakers I really enjoyed it though but hated all the wires but it used to have my whole apartment vibrating from the bass I'll probably go back to that maybe next time around for that movie theater sound but anyways 3.5 stars for Samsung sound bar & sub

Great for 43" TV in Medium/Large Room

I purchased this to go with my 43" Series 7 Samsung 4K TV, and it works great. Some tips:
- To control the volume with your TV (or universal) remote, you need to use the Optical Audio Cable (vs the Bluetooth) to connect the sound bar to your TV. The Optical Audio Cable that comes with it is fairly short. I mounted the sound bar on top of the TV cabinet so I had to use a longer Optical Audio Cable
- The separate subwoofer connects great via Bluetooth
- The setup works great, but you must carefully read the instructions
- Be sure to read how to adjust the subwoofer for volume. Mine came set at "0".... I pumped it up to "3" or "4" ("5" is max), and it sounds super.
- If you place the speaker in front of the bottom of your TV, be sure to not let it block the IR receptor on the TV.... I was not careful and then wondered why my TV's remote would not work! Thus, mine is on top of the TV cabinet.
- This unit greatly improved the sound of my TV. Our room is medium/large.... not huge, but it does have a cathedral ceiling.
- I started to by the next model up for more bucks, but decided on this one. For my application it's really all I could want or need.

Great sounding 2.1 system to add to you medium to large living room/ Man Cave. Sounds much better than the tiny 20W speakers that come with the tv but not as expensive or complex as a full theatre setup. I use it to stream music (Pandora, Spotify, Apple Music) and sounds quality is great. Can't ask for much more for ~$200.00.

After reading reviews and listening to the sound bar at my local Best Buy, I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! I has great sound and was easy to set up. I like a lot of bass in my speakers and the sub-woofer does not disappoint. This sound bar has turned a flat tv speaker experience into a real treat for the ears!

I purchased the Sound Bar when I bought the tv thinking that I probably didn't need one but I would try it anyway. I'm so glad I purchased it, the sound quality is amazing. Very crisp and clear, really nice Bass. I listen to a lot of music via Bluetooth, the Range for Bluetooth could be better but hey that's not why I bought it.

Super easy to set up. The fiber optic cable plugged right into my TV, and the subwoofer synched wirelessly. The system powers on and off with the TV as needed. The sound fills our livingroom just fine. It's a huge improvement over the built-in speakers, and it is way more convenient than my old surround sound system.
