I can't get it to fit snug and therefore is very loose. As long as I don't move the sound bar, it works with the cable being loose. I've tried other optical cables and I can't get those to fit correctly either.

I use it with a samsung tv so it pairs perfectly together, when the tv goes on/off the soundbar turns on/off. I would not recommend the back speakers for surround sound, they are not powerful.
