I think the sound is just as bad as the TV. Yes, it is louder, but in all honesty not much of a difference in volume aside from the sub woofer.

Sound is really good. But not plug and play with Sony x900h. When using the sony remote, I'll raise the volume holding it down, the tv will show 45 but the sound bar will 29. I'll lower the volume using the remote and the tv will show 0 but the sound bar shows 14 or something. I expect to plug this in, work with my tv no problems.

Pleased with the price and easy to set up, however, the sound has somewhat of an echo. Still trying to fine tune the system.

Bought this sound to replace vizio sound bar.. did not like how this sound bar fluctuate the sound . Woofer seems very weak

Not even as loud as my tv, I purchased a soundbar without the subwoofer 10+ years ago with better sound quality. Also beginning to get crackling noise. Very disappointed!

Would not recommend the sound quality is barely better than my Samsung tv alone.

The subwoofer the light therefore he did not produce any noticeable bass. Polk audio for the same was much better.

Sadly, this sound bar's sound is not much better than my Samsung TV's speaker. A waste of money. I returned it.

I've had a lot of problems with the sound at.It won't work when I plug it into the TV I also bought around the same time.It dose not work with the ARC attachment.Even though both are Samsung's ,and both were purchased from Best Buy.Sometimes even though it is set to speak English sometimes it speaks Spanish.Best Buy store said to call DISH and Samsung.

It was very complicated setting it up and trying to read that tiny instructions that didn’t make sense and was NOT user friendly. The sound bar was working but the subwoofer had no sound. It looked like it was connected but, no matter how high I turn it on, still no sound, after 3 hours of trying to set up and make it work, I gave up. It’s going back to the store.

Very poor sound quality and not very loud at all. Very disappointed

I'm surprised at all the positive reviews, or maybe there is something wrong with mine. The sound is boxy and muffled. I added the surround package to see if it would help. It paired fine and does actually seem to work using test signals, but the surround effect is minimal with real content. I'm feeding it directly using HDMI from a Roku box.

Too hard to set up. Keeps unpairing with tv. Don’t buy.

Although since our purchase was with a Samsung TV, we thought the set-up would be easy.....not so.

Never even got the soundbar hooked up. It may have great sound but I wont know because it doesnt include a wall mount even though it has the holes for the mount on the bar. Every other HW model soundbar from Samsung has a wall mount. From what I can tell, neither Best Buy or Samsungs website sells the wall mount separately either. Returning this item.

Was not able to sync voice sound to picture...called up samsung and really not much help....little better but still felt like I was watching a kung fu movie converted to English. Not cool

I bought this because the vizio soundbar I had stopped working. It was on sale so I thought i was getting a good deal. This sound bar is horrible. It needs to be turned up to a high level to hear voices and that makes the action scenes extremely loud. There is no volume leveling even while using it with a samsung TV.

I've had this for quite a while now. And it sucks, sound is very low. My TV speakers are better.same price as a Vizio sound bar which is 10 x better. I thought hey Samsung how can you go wrong but wow was I ever wrong. Stay away , no run away!

Bass is not that great. Pretty average. But not a bad deal for the price
