Good sound quality but annoying sound breaks

The sound kept going out completely. We would have to constantly hit the power bottom on the sound bar because it would switch off. After several google searches, we found a remedy by changing something on the TV’s sound options menu. Now the sound still drops out but it is only for a second and then it resumes on its own. It is like one word gets bleeped out of a sentence.
