    This soundbar works great, was easy to incorporate with my TV but I was unable to get it to connect through bluetooth to Samsung rear speakers. I followed the directions in the manual which says you can but no go.

      Thank you for purchasing the Samsung HW-A40R and for sharing the issues you are experiencing with the connection of your wireless rear speaker kit. Your feedback is important to us and will be shared with our product teams.

      Please know, the maximum wireless signal distance between the soundbar and rear speakers is about 33 feet. If there is a wall between the soundbar and the transmitter module, it may cause interference or the sound may not work at all, depending on the material in the wall. Finally, if a device that uses the same wireless frequency, such as a Wi-Fi router, is near the soundbar, interference may cause some sound interruption.

      Please also make sure your soundbar is updated to the latest firmware version (ver. 1014) featuring the latest connection improvements. Should you continue to experience issues with the sound occasionally dropping, you may want to try reconnecting the speakers manually; this will reset the connection.

    Not worth 20 dollars if you want my honest opinion . Sorry it’s just not a good product . tv itself has a better speaker system. If we didn’t threw the box we would have returned it.

      Thank you for sharing your review of the Samsung HW-A430. We appreciate your feedback regarding the audio performance of your soundbar.

      This soundbar features a powerful wireless subwoofer, as well as Bass Boost mode to instantly amplify the bass with a touch of a button. You can try manually optimizing your settings by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then selecting the desired sound effect by choosing STANDARD, SURROUND SOUND, or BASS BOOST.

      You can further adjust TREBLE via the SOUND CONTROL button (looks like a gear symbol).

      There are two additional adjustments that can be made for bass and subwoofer:
      1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down

      2) Adjust the bass control by pressing the SOUND CONTROL button on the remote control, then select BASS to increase the level. You can adjust the volume between -6 to +6 by using the Up/Down buttons.

      For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics. With the sound mode set to Standard, press, and hold the Sound Control button for about 5 seconds. 150Hz, 300Hz, 600Hz, 1.2kHz, 2.5kHz, 5kHz, and 10kHz are selectable using the Left/Right buttons and each can be adjusted to a setting between -6 to +6 using the Up/Down buttons.

    After two minutes of play, the bass stops working and the highs lower. Even at max volume the audio is a 4 out of 10 at best! Spend the extra money for something better.

    Purchased this for our living room .. connected it - which took a little more time than I think it should - and was almost immediately disappointed. The sound quality was very poor. It's pretty direct .. I plugged in the fiber optic cable, but man .. the audio was so disappointing. I thought maybe I'm doing something wrong, but, alas, it was just not going to sound any better. You can read my review on the TCL unit that I purchased in it's stead, which is MUCH MUCH better and less costly. Great that some folks do like the audio, but for those shopping sound bars, I would DEF check out the TCL soundbar/sub combo. Skip This!

    Bad Customer service and missing remote

    Was missing remote and won’t connect to my TV. Wanted to return under 30 days but since I had to open it to see the remote was missing, they would not give me a refund

    Bought by mistake though it had HDMI

    I returned it because it didn’t have HDMI in. Completely my fault for not reading and researching properly. In my defense, I never expected that in 2021 a TV sound bar that retails for $279 wouldn’t have HDMI.
