I am sorry to see that you are not fully satisfied with your purchase of the new HW-C450 Soundbar.
You can try manually optimizing your settings by pressing the SOUND MODE button on your remote, and then select the desired sound effect by choosing SURROUND SOUND – GAME – ADAPTIVE – BASS BOOST – STANDARD
Additionally, there are two additional adjustments that can be made for bass and subwoofer:
1) Using the WOOFER button on the remote, you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer between -6 to +6 by toggling the button up or down. To set the subwoofer volume level to 0, press the button down
2) Adjust the BASS or TREBLE by pressing the TONE CONTROL button on the remote control, then you will use the UP/DOWN buttons to adjust either between -6 to +6.
For precise audio adjustments, you can use the 7-band frequency equalizer to optimize the sound for your room acoustics by pressing and holding the SOUND CONTROL button for about 5 seconds, make sure you also set the SOUND MODE to STANDARD.
So you are aware, the SWA-9200S Wireless Rear Speakers are compatible with the Soundbar, giving you a surround sound experience.

I live in a highrise condo so it's perfect. But if I lived in a bigger house I would need a stronger soundbar for a higher volume in a living room.

The ability to use the same remote is a great benefit to me. It is not the best quality, but you get what you pay for and it satisfies me. It also had a very easy setup.

It has optical and USB but USB doesn't work with my TV. My TV is not bluetooth capable either so this sound bar requires 2 remotes for the TV and the sound bar. I want the ease of just one remote to control everything and the HDMI eARC option has worked for me in the past. I like Samsung so I'll see what other models offer HDMI. I would recommend this to someone who doesn't need HDMI and/or has Bluetooth capability on all devices.

Subpar Sound Bar

Volume was subpar, subwoofer didn’t add strong bass, and overall crispness of sound was lacking. Decided to return it and go back to my Vizio. I was trying to go the inexpensive route and didn’t work. Only way to surpass what I currently have is to spend close to $1,000 for a quality sound bar.

There are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot your Soundbar.
Please verify that you are running the latest firmware on your Soundbar. You can download the firmware directly from Samsung’s website by clicking “Support” in the top right corner. Then go to “Manuals & Software” > “TVs & Home Theater” > “Home Theater” > “Sound Bars”. From there, you can select the HW-A430 under A-Series.
Please verify that you are running the latest firmware on your TV. You can check to see what software version your TV is using and if there is an available update through the settings on your TV. Go to: Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.
Next, try doing a soft reset, unplug the soundbar from the outlet for roughly 30 seconds and then plug it back in.
If this still does not correct your issue, then do a hard reset. With the Soundbar on, press the + & - Volume buttons on the body of the soundbar at the same time for at least 5 seconds. INIT OK” appears on the display and then the Soundbar is reset.

Additionally, when hooked up to my tv via bluetooth, it was whisper quiet. I had to crack the speaker to max volume and my tv to 50% to get the normal listening volume of my tv at 15%. None of the buttons on the remote worked to control volume either, I had to use the buttons on the speaker itself. Maybe this speaker is just super incompatible with my tv, but I returned it.
