Now we are into our second year of ownership and the problems have begun! Electronic malfunction: The clock changes from the time to any number of numbers like it is possessed. Seems like a computer problem. Heating Unit malfunction: The heating unit has burnt out and starts smoking instead of heating. I've had both of these issues replaced, the first being covered under the 10 year parts warranty, however, the second time around the labor isn't covered. Overall, we've been disappointed with our entire Samsung kitchen with the exception of the dishwasher. That's the only device of theirs that I have confidence at this point. I'm going back to LG.

I bought this microwave online in late January, and picked it up from a Best Buy warehouse. Samsung WILL not accept the receipt from the Best Buy website as proof of purchase for registering to get the manufacturer warranty. It has all the info they request as far as I can tell. Best Buy has no other receipt for me (my complaint is not about Best Buy). I would hesitate to buy anything from Samsung if you don't plan on buying an extended warranty from Best Buy or elsewhere. I emailed Samsung again asking why the rejection, and asked what I am missing, with no response. I rated value low because you don't get a warranty!
