There may be buttons to change from cubed or crushed ice but they mean nothing. You will get what the refrigerator feels you should get. We got our fridge home and thought it was broke. Got a replacement only to have the exact same problem. After reading more in depth on the reviews I see other people have had the same issue. This technology has been around for a while so I a surprised this is even a problem that can't be corrected today. I know it sounds like a small issue but the crushed ice takes quite a while to fill a glass.

It looks awesome, I love that it doesn't have the handles which look bulky. It looks nice and clean.

Built a new home and we wanted a counter depth fridge and this one fits the fridge cabinet perfectly and looks awesome. I too initally thought the showcase feature was just a novelty item but now having it for over a month it is actually very useful and makes everyday items easily accessible. Overall great fridge!!!

Purchased this model to replace an older refrigerator in the apartment. It looks great and fits well in the space in the kitchen. The only flaw is that the ice maker freezes up from time to time and needs to be emptied out to work again. Buy on sale.

Love our new fridge! Love that you can open front door verses opening the entire door to safe electricity and keep your food cold...Also, lots more room than my previous fridge.. They designed it perfectly. We had countertop side by side fridge before and this one we are defiantly gaining much more room.

Bought this refrigerator as replacement for the old one that just gave up after only a few years of using, and I did not regret that I chose this model...first with its looks and functionality....spacious storage bins, digital controls, and sleek design...!

delivered, a little damage to entry area when bringing in thru doorway, had to repair and repaint door frame. not fridge fault, but the delivery people. noticed ice maker would not make cubed ice, only crushed. called and best buy fix right away. working great now. Samsung sent all parts that might be needed, no delay in repair.

This fridge was a replacement for our 15 year old Maytag Wide By Side that finally died. Nice to have a new Modern looking well lit, full featured fridge. Went with Counter Depth as we did not need tons of room and wanted the fridge to not stick out so far. Be careful to make sure there is plenty of side clearance though since the doors on all the new fridges are rather thick with the hinge point several inches back. That prevents the doors from opening all the way if the fridge is close to a sidewall or counter. Just did not end up with as much setback as we wanted with this counter depth unit. Overall though we really like it.

The fridge looks really great in person. so far after 2 months, no problems. Only complaint is the icemaker which can be slow and the inability to use the water when the icemaker is shut off. however, the size,practicality and features of the fridge is all I need.

This is one of the sharpest looking fridges. Great storage very organized.

Better than expected. Great finish, never saw Stainless with a finish like this. Plain water cleans it in a second. Works very well, very quiet. The most quiet refrigerator I ever had. The double door feature is great. Holds more than may previous refrigerator which was the same cubic feet.

Although we initially did not want to purchase the counter version- I am so glad we did. We bought a newer house and buying an oversized fridge would be sticking out too much . This version is so sleek and functional . The only downsize are the fingerprints left. Need to wipe down daily !!

We were looking for a stainless steel fridge that would compliment our Whirlpool appliances. This fridge looks very sleek with its hidden handles and we love it! Tons of door storage that can be accessed from either door. Perfect size for us as we needed a counter-depth fridge!

I wanted the latest refrigerator technology in an older house that I just purchased, unfortunately the doorway and hall widths wouldn't allow a modern full-size refrigerator. This counter-depth refrigerator fit the bill and also featured the showcase door for quick access without fully opening the refrigerator.

For a side by side it has a lot of freezer space. Issue right now with freezer getting too cold on its own.

Finished up a kitchen remodel and realized we needed more space between our fridge and the end of an added on peninsula. We really like the showcase door to access condiments and drinks. Does require some adjustments to the smaller size and side by side format, but this is a great fridge.

I have had mixed luck with appliances, including Samsung. This has been a good buy so far. It has quite a bit of room and fits the cutout in my kitchen perfectly. Lighting is quite good and makes enough ice for my family. Temperature control is very good.
