From searching online, I now see that the ice maker is apparently defective and the leaking water may have even damaged the electrical outlet in the basement just below the floor. Samsung customer service has been less than helpful so far. I've never owned a worse refridgerator and am very disappointed that Best Buy and Samsung continue to sell this.
