Bad Icemaker

Owned for 1 week when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We had the refrigerator installed and oaid to have icemaker water line installed and after almost a week they told me they couldn't do it. I finally got my husband to do it like he has many times over the past 45 years of marriage. After hooking up the line to the icemaker, the icemaker did not work so another few days went by and we had to go to a Best Buy and find one that would work for the space we had. We contacted Best Buy customer service and had to order another brand refrigerator but then they I formed us that it would be September 14th before they could install the new LG. Needless to say we are still waiting.

Owned for 11 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After 11 months of owning it (and being generally happy - it's noisy but stylish and spacious), I came home to a freezerful of ruined food, frost and ice built up over everything, water under the fridge. From searching online, I now see that the ice maker is apparently defective and the leaking water may have even damaged the electrical outlet in the basement just below the floor. Samsung customer service has been less than helpful so far. I've never owned a worse refridgerator and am very disappointed that Best Buy and Samsung continue to sell this.
