    The only knock on the fridge is interior size. If you need a counter depth and this fits in your space, get it - you'll have no regrets!

    I have purchased this product in November 2015, but ever since May 2016, the fridge has constantly needed repair. Three time so far the freezer just stopped working (the entire freezer, not just the ice maker) forcing us to throw out hard earn money on the products purchased. after 5 technician visits, still not fixed. Still dealing with Samsung, which i must say they have the worst customer service available on any product, as it takes them 2 weeks just to approve a visit while still under warranty, and every time we call Samsung to send someone to fix it, we have to go through the same process on the same product every time, because their record shows it's out of warranty, even though it has not been 1 year yet, forcing us yet again to send them proof of purchase with every call. I will not recommend another brand, but i will say stay away from Samsung and their horrible service.

    I have purchased this refrigerator last August in Best Buy. It has stopped working since last Friday. Since I didn't buy the protection plan from BestBuy, I had to contact SamSung directly. They sent the technician came to my house to repair it. The technician replaced the broken compressor but it still did not work!!!! Then I had to submit my original purchase receipt to SamSung to get the exchange or refund. It has been already one week, and there is no solution, I don't have a refrigerator to use and I don't know how long they will process the exchange/refund order. I can't believe the refrigerator could be broken less than ONE year!! This is the worst experience I have ever had!!! Very frustrating!!!

    Super trouble from the beginning

    Within 2 weeks the temp was going down. Had to call Samsung because the 15 day return from Best Buy was over. Long story short, after 2 months we are still trying to get the refrigerator fixed., It had a freon leak. Was fixed then the compressor locked up two days later. Was told by Samsung that we would probably get a refund or a replacement. Waiting a week for a confirmation, we called Samsung and were told we were denied. Now waiting for the service to call us to replace the condenser. We have no confidence in this refrigerator or in Samsung. Have no idea if we will get a refrigerator any time soon.

    We bought this Samsung model from Best Buy and had it installed 3 1/2 years ago in our newly refinished basement. The ice maker stopped working within a the first several months. My friend who also purchased a Samsung refrigerator about the same time we did had the exact same issue with her Samsung fridge and the Samsung certified repairman who came to repair it said the ice machine is a common issue with Samsung refrigerators. Since this was a secondary refrigerator we didn't priorize the fix. Then all of a sudden this morning I opened the refrigerator that was full of food and noticed everything was warm both in the fridge and freezer. We had just stocked up. I’m my attempt to understand and fix the problem, I did a lot of research on this model and discovered that this cooling system breakdown happens all the time with this model and sometimes within just a few months. Review after review on various other big retailer sights talks about these same exact issues and people’s absolute frustration in dealing with Samsung customer service even though they are within warranty. Samsung also does t cover many of the thing associated with the issue not pays for labor tax etc. Amazon and other big dealers show the rating on this unit between 1 1/2 and 3 stars. I’m Not sure why it’s higher at Best Buy. Since it’s apparent that trying to get this done with Samsung within any timely manner and without a significant amount of Frustration and money out of my pocket (as they ask you to pay for any repairs and they will/may reimburse you) I’d rather just buy a new one, and definitely not a Samsung again!! I would advise the same to you!

    Bought the 2009 version of this model and it lasted 6 years before the condenser and a fan broke for a $900 repair. Parts aren't stocked locally and fewer shops service the Samsung. My $400 GE has been running strong for 17 years now.

    Samsung keep on going with WAIT 3 TO 7 DAYS for am ok {for a dept I can not call} in the mean time we are waiting for a new replacement for a frigerator that can not be repaired. We are going on 3 week since the tech told us the refrigerator can not be fixed.we were told that we will get a telephone call the we were that we will get am email..This refrigerator ins only 5 month old. do not believe there Warranty

    This is what the Samsung service person said when they came to diagnose our refrigerator. It stopped working on both the freezer and refrigerator side after 22 MONTHS. Its been a high of 75 in the Bay Area, and 80 degrees in the fridge. The worst part is the customer service. It took one week to get the first service person out to diagnose the problem, which they could not fix. The specialist was supposed to come five days later, which would be tomorrow Friday. Guess who sent a text message this afternoon canceling tomorrow's service appointment?? We have spent hours on the phone with Samsung and they are a disorganized mess. The worst customer service I've dealt with in a long time. Living out of a cooler for 2 weeks is difficult and unacceptable.

    Only lasted 16 months

    It is nice looking, but oh so very poorly made. Just 16 months old and the compressor failed costing us hundreds in spoiled food and inconvenience. We thought we were lucky that the part was still under a warranty through Samsung, however, this just led to weeks of trying to deal with the worst service company (mandated by Samsung) I have experienced in 40 years of home ownership. We just passed three weeks without a refrigerator now and all we have to show for that is one much delayed service call. In the meantime, we are transferred, delayed, ignored, calls for updates on the replacement status for the condenser go unreturned. Pay attention to the other reviews, this unit is not worth the trouble unless you like a challenge or living out of a cooler. I will never ever buy another Samsung product.

    Great looking Fridge. Nice features. Ice dispenser is slow that doesn’t bother me. But it’s a little disconcerting when the freezer stops working. Everything is melted. Thank God I got an extended warranty. My 20 year old Maytag never has given me a problem. I hope it’s something minor. Really starting to wonder about Samsung. Very disappointed. Keep you updated.

    We had the refrigerator for less than four years and both sides quit cooling. I called Samsung and they could not make it work. They sent their authorized repair service to fix it. After three visits (10 days) the refrigerator was still not working. In fact it was worse then when they started. I called Samsung back and they basically told me that's too bad your warranty has expired and we can not do anything to help you. Had to buy an new refrigerator. I will never purchase another Samsung product.

    Frequent Repair Needed

    Purchased this unit in 4/2017. We've had to return it once. Had to wait almost 2 weeks for a replacement. Try living without a fridge for 2 weeks. Today, the phone tech told me the circuit board likely needs to be replaced and we have to wait 1 week before a tech can be scheduled. In the mean time, food spoilage. Matters would be worse had we not purchased the Geek Squad warranty.

    This attractive hunk of junk never worked from the first day and THREE MONTHS later I am finally getting the ok to return it (the compressors never worked!). HOURS wasted on the phone, at the store and technician visits plus loads of frustration not to mention big time restaurant bills because I have no working refrigerator! A NIGHTMARE!

    After 5 months, it just stopped getting cold. Samsung sent a repair man and he said it had very little Freon in it and the compressor was running very hot. He could not figure out why the Freon was not there and could find no leaks. Still waiting to get a replacement after 18 days.

    I do not recommend this product it broke after 6 months. Customer service is awful. I spoke to two customer service mangers and they could not help at all. Recently purchased all new Samsung appliances and they are way more efficient my electric bill has also decreased by $15/month!

    I will never buy ANY Samsung appliances EVER again. My refrigerator and dish washer have had to be serviced after just 3 years of owning, so buy the extended warranty if you want to gamble with getting Samsung appliances. Customer service is mediocre at best, I was told I would be contacted in 2 days and I instead had to call back 3 times before they contacted me again. I was told I cancelled by service ticket the day after I called, which was incorrect and ignorant. I was also never offered help or asked my issue I was given a price. All while my refrigerator is not keeping temperature so for the past week I have had to live off take out or frozen food. Don't waste your money or time.
