Lots of Room for the Size

I love that it has the drawer for quick access to small stuff. I put snacks in the drawer so you don’t have to open the main part. My favorite part of this refrigerator is the water pitcher inside. It has a center container to put fruit to make fruit infused water. The only negative is the ice maker isn’t always consistent with the ice. The ice overall is on the small side and isn’t always fully formed. The ice maker is also somewhat noisy but that could be because it’s close to my bedroom and wakes me up at night. I don’t really hear it during the day.

The ice maker is the main issue, and part of a class action lawsuit. It’s poor design results in ice build up and non function. We also just had the freezer go out and it’s 2 years old! We know 3 other people that have the same issues.

About the water filter in your Samsung Refrigerator.
Replacing the water filter in your fridge helps keep your water tasting fresh and helps to prevent odors. Your Family Hub panel will notify you when it’s time to change it, which is about every 6 months. First make sure you purchase a genuine Samsung filter made specifically for your fridge model. You can find replacements on Samsung.com. When you’re ready to replace it, turn off the water line to the fridge, drain the waterline by running the dispenser, and then turn the old filter counterclockwise to pull it out. After you insert the new filter, turn it clockwise to lock it in place, and then turn your water valve back on. All that’s left is to run the water for a few minutes to flush it and reset the replace filter alert on your fridge.
