||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Approx about every year or year and half the middle draw main controlls will stop working and the wiring harness inside the door gets pinched and has to be torn apart and changed , now i have had this fridge for about 3 and half years and now they cant get the controls to work at all and the ice and water picher dosnt work only thing that works is water in the door..thanks for having geek squads 5 year protection program because have had so much trouble that there going to replace it ...nice fridge when it works okay but i would not buy another one with the middle draw that slides out the middle draw is what causes the problems because of the wiring harness slidding in and out inside the door ..

About the water filter in your Samsung Refrigerator.
Replacing the water filter in your fridge helps keep your water tasting fresh and helps to prevent odors. Your Family Hub panel will notify you when it’s time to change it, which is about every 6 months. First make sure you purchase a genuine Samsung filter made specifically for your fridge model. You can find replacements on Samsung.com. When you’re ready to replace it, turn off the water line to the fridge, drain the waterline by running the dispenser, and then turn the old filter counterclockwise to pull it out. After you insert the new filter, turn it clockwise to lock it in place, and then turn your water valve back on. All that’s left is to run the water for a few minutes to flush it and reset the replace filter alert on your fridge.
