Buyer beware

Had it for only 24hrs before I had to call service on it as the icemaker was leaking into the refrigerator compartment. Samsung rep came out and installed new icemaker, made the leaking issue even worse as it then leaked put of the front of the fridge. Have contacted Samsung and they are refunding my money and taking the fridge back. Bought an LG that we are very happy with.

Stay far away

Best Buy wouldn’t help, Samsung wouldn’t help. A tech got sent out for A BRAND NEW FRIDGE now for the 2nd time. I’ve been without a fridge for 3 weeks and still waiting for it to be repaired. I requested it to be replaced because who buys a brand new fridge that needs work on it? You wait on hold and get the run around no matter who you talk too. By far the worst experience & I regret ever giving my money to Best Buy and Samsung.

Makes way too many noises.

Dispenses ice cubes very slowly and there's no way to just reach in and grab the ice. The crushed ice setting is so slow the ice on the bottom will be water before you fill a small cocktail glass. Doors don't close well - I'm frequently reminded that a door hasn't closed all the way when the alarm starts going off, since they sort of stop short and don't close all the way. ...as I've written this review, I've counted about 25 noises in the last 5 minutes. It sounds like it is 30 years old and about to break, but I've had it for only about 2 weeks.

Worst Delivery Service

This was the worst delivery experience I have ever had. Delivery people were shown where to place the appliances in the house. There were stairs the appliance would have to be brought up. The delivery people just dropped the appliances in the garage and left. Called Best Buy back to have someone come back. Appointment was 7:00 to 1:00 two days later day to bring appliances in the house. No one showed up for the second appointment. Will be going somewhere else if I need anything delivered. Stay with the delivery people and don't leave your garage door open.

We have had 2 ice maker service calls under warranty, and now, 2 months out of warranty, the ice maker has failed yet again. There is an additional warranty period covering the ice maker for units bought between October 2020 and September 2021, but we bought ours in June 2020 so no luck on that. Really disappointed. Our Whirlpool "backup" refrigerator out in the garage is 15 years old and still going strong.

Not fingerprint resistant!!

But….The refrigerator is supposed to be fingerprint resistant and it’s not! Every time someone opens the fridge there are prints. By the end of the day my fridge is covered with prints. Been wiping it clean all day every day now! The space inside the fridge is good overall. But if you want a fingerprint resistant fridge this is not it!

Looks great but doesn’t work

After calling the electrician, we figured out that the fridge had a broken compressor. Still waiting for BestBuy to come pick this up. Waited weeks to get it. Really bummed.

Never buy an open box

I do not understand all the positive reviews as the installers who replaced the dead refrigerator told me that Samsung refrigerators are the most returned item. Never again. Go with the LG.

Ice machine is awful

EXCEPT The ice machine makes little ice cubes and barely any of them! The water functions just fine (if not cold enough), but the ice. There is hardly any!

But the Handel fail off and needed assembly a week after delivery and the drawer squeaks badly. The lock for drawers doesnt work either.
