    Just a few months after buying, the Ice-maker keeps freezing over don't buy Samsung. Have to use a hair dryer to melt overfreezing

    Icemaker quit working after 7 months and no one from Samsung or BB will take ownership of warranty to come fix it.

    THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT! IT IS ROOMY, HAS THE WATER AND ICE DISPENSER EVEN THOUGH IT IS A COUNTER DEPTH. I WOULD HAVE GIVEN IT 5 STARS, BUT IT CAME FROM THE MANUFACTURER WITH 6 DENTS IN THE TOP OF THE DOOR. BEST BUY STOOD BEHIND THE PRODUCT 100% AND GAVE ME OPTIONS TO GET A DIFFERENT ONE, OR KEEP THIS WITH A DISCOUNT.

    I love my new refrigerator except I am getting small dents in the front and sides. I think it easily dents and I don't like that. So be careful if you use a stick vacuum in your kitchen or maybe grandchildren???? Anyway, that is my only dissappointment

    1 star because I cannot review with 0 stars. This was a piece of junk. Samsung repaired near end of 3 yr warranty and then I had same issue. The ice maker was a problem and refrigerator did not keep proper temperature. Apparently they Know and Knew they had issues and after warranty period too bad on you. Many I have spoken to have had problems getting repair. My daughter who purchased her Samsung refrigerator and had multiple repair managed even after warranty expired to get money back from Samsung. She was pleased with refund until she learned she could not buy a new one at Bestbuy sale price. She had to go through Samsung and pay list. Buyer Beware!!!

    This is our first French door refrigerator, truth is we chose it because it was the only one available in a few days (supply chain) The Pros: opening the two doors it great, makes it easier to find things, and creates a lot of usable space. Ice maker is sealed inside the refrigerator and seems to work well. The full width deli drawer is nice though a little shallow two half drawers above. Like the drawer freezer Cons: There is no egg shelf or storage, because of the ice dispenser in the door, shelves on the upper left door are very small, and because the ice maker is sealed, you can only access ice through the door dispenser, which is slow, Finally, there is no tray to catch drips on the door below ice/water dispenser, my wife bought a small sponge/pad the fits in it. Overall, the problems are annoying but not serious, we are very pleased. Hope it's more dependable than GE!

    It was a good fridge until the ice maker start giving us problems. It barely made to 2 years guess we were lucky cause Best Buy took care of the first repair then it didn’t even lasted a month we got geek squad 5 times and no luck. We ended up buying a new fridge this time an LG with internal water and ice dispensers

    Will never buy Samsung appliances again. Bought a whole kitchen package in 2020 and so far the dishwasher has had a leak, the stove is unresponsive at times and now the fridge stopped making ice. Over $5,000 in appliance that are just over 3 years old. Garbage.

    Ice maker does not last. We have had it replaced once and just had to call for service just 4 months later. I don't recommend Samsung refrigerators. It seems this is an ongoing problem with their refrigerators

    Would not recommend Samsung refrigerators. Ours started breaking down after 3 years- now on our second expensive repair($500 the first time). Started with ice maker seizing up, then excessive condensation in the fridge, then very loud whirring whenever the motor runs. I was told by the repairman the first time that Samsungs don't last and I should only expect 5 years out of it. Called the local appliance store where I bought it and the salesman said 'Oh we don't sell those anymore- we had too many problems with them' I wish I knew that before we bought.

    I have an older model of this same refrigerator. About 2 years after we owned it, the top ice maker went, pouring water out of the top ice unit, onto my hardwood floor and then into my finished basement. Upon contacting Samsung, they tried to sell me an extended warranty and provided no help. A few years after that, the bottom ice maker started acting up and finally quit. I now have to buy bags of ice instead of being able to enjoy having ice made. After my experience, I caution anyone in buying a Samsung refrigerator. I do own other Samsung products, such as tv's and phones, which have been good. You can find many other complaints about Samsung ice makers.

    Water Leaks from Icemaker

    If you use crushed ice don't buy this fridge. The ice melts in the maker and water leaks out of the dispenser in to the tray and on the floor. This is a design flaw. The water tray is plastic and now it's etched from water leaking. I'm very disappointed. We called customer service and they'll send out someone to have a look. However, if it's not broken we pay for the service.

    I have had this refrigerator over a year. Worked well for about 6 months then the ice maker stopped making ice. Drips when the ice maker dispenses ice. Drips on inside as well, at the chute. The ice is wet. Doors are difficult to close. Now making a noise. Ice maker has been totally replaced twice and one other repair to no avail. Done with Samsung. Moving on.

    Samsung Contributed to My Problems

    Like many, we had problems with our ice maker. Samsung, unknown to us, did everything they could not to replace it. The first time a repair person came out, they replaced a couple parts, used a hair dryer to melt away the ice and left. When it failed again in a couple months, the second person came out and replaced more parts and gave suggestions on how to fix it myself in the future. The third person who came out replaced the ice maker. They told me that Samsung knew about the problem from the beginning but wouldn't authorize a replacement under the warranty until if failed three times. I can't tell you how many hours I spent working on the ice maker. In addition, the freezer isn't air tight and food gets freezer burn. Samsung is aware of this and puts on the freezer there may be a problem. I will never buy a Samsung product again.

    The ice maker stopped working a few months after purchase, went through the reset process about 4 times and it eventually worked for about 2 weeks. Tried the reset again a few times, didn't work, called Samsung and they sent out a Tech to repair it. The technician was great, he did a firmware update and replaced the ice maker assembly. Ice maker worked about a year and failed again, this time out of warranty. Got tired of buying bags of ice to keep in the freezer, Giving the fridge away and not getting another Samsung.

    Fridge with issues

    Refrigerator cools and makes ice. The primary issue is the defective left door that sometimes prevents closing the refrigerator without manually adjusting the center post to allow the door to then close. Additionally, the thermostat is off slightly as we had to raise the temperature from the recommended 34 deg F to prevent water bottles and other items freezing in the refrigerator portion. As Best Buy return policy is not allowing us to return the fridge, we are now having to deal with Samsung repair service for what was supposed to be a new fridge, leaving us with a "repaired" fridge.
