This is great fridge ! It looks modern and i`m glad i went up with counter depth, it`s not sticking out like my previous one. i just hope it lasts long... enough space , i wa worried that it would be less space than the 27 Cu has. So far fits a lot and it is so convenient with shelves, now i can see everything!!!
I would recommend this to a friend

I got the counter depth option to replace an old white fridge that came with my house.
It’s soooo pretty, and the no handle design is great in my narrow kitchen.
Finally everything is matching stainless!
Although a little smaller, this thing holds a lot!
I read other people complain that the door water drips. I had this issue and called Samsung in a panic. They instructed me to dispense 2 to 3 gallons of water to get rid of the water bubble in the new water line causing the drip. Off I went, watered a bunch of plant, and voila! Worked like a charm. No more drips. The bottom crisper drawer is kind of small because the filter is there. No big deal, I use that one for lunch meats and cheese. It’s true there’s no light in the water dispenser but it’s honestly not a deal breaker. The water tastes great and the little ice cubes are darling.
The shelves aren’t adjustable, but they’re so well spaced, they don’t need to be.
Overall it’s beautiful, spacious, and does everything I need it to quietly. No regrets.

I love this fridge! Went from a top freezer to this, hoping it would have more freezer space- but it doesn’t. I transferred all my frozen goods and they fit the same- but much easier to access! We wanted the water and ice dispenser and are really pleased with it. Our tall water bottles fit no problem and the water flavor is great! Our tap doesn’t taste good at all but this filters put fresh, tasteless water ( and I am picky). It’s perfect for us.
My concerns when reading reviews was the single light and the fixed shelves. Neither has been an issue. Shelves are spaced just right and the light gives plenty of light even at night. I gave 4 stars because the bottom drawer is very small and I would prefer a third drawer for butter and cheese. But I solved that problem by ordering a few plastic refrigerator organizer bins.
Overall we are very happy with this purchase. It’s quiet and looks great! We would definitely recommend it.

The size of counter top depth was perfect for my small lab. The old one was full size. It was bulkier than the new one. This one has recessed door handles. They are working perfect. Don’t close two doors at the same time. There is a chance to jam you fingers. The ice maker is great. The new bright led light is great. The temperature control is great. At 34degree I found some lettuce may be iced. The compressor noise level is slightly higher than the higher level one. But it was not that bad. Everyone felt it was great purchase replacing the one died suddenly after 12 years. It was Samsung also.

I love the sleek design and black stainless finish. We had another bigger refrigerator on order and changed it to this counter depth design. So glad we did! Only con is the shelves do not adjust so I feel there is some wasted space.

Works as good as it looks. You are going to hear the ice maker work and it gets louder when you dispense ice. I don’t believe you can get any better counter depth for less money.

It makes very efficient use of space. Although having the same size as my old fridge, there is much more room inside.
The ice and the water dispenser have been working fine until now.
Finally, I love the design, it looks very good.

Great design. Ample space interior space. Definitely will not go back to French refrigerator. Nice to be able to see everything inside the freezer. My old French refrigerator got demoted to the garage.

I purchased this knowing the door/sides were dented and damaged, for use as a second refrigerator. The outside appearance, otherwise, is sleek and attractive. Storage space is very good. Cooling is excellent.

Great fridge for the price! Simplistic design with lots of storage space in both the fridge and freezer.

I wanted to like this fridge, but just to summarize, I wish I hadn’t bought it.
Let’s explore what I mean…
First, the positive features: I like the side-by-side design, and it’s plenty big enough for our household of three adults. And the dimensions are what I wanted since it doesn’t protrude out into the kitchen as much as our old Kenmore/LG.
But the unanticipated irritations are several:
1) The water/ice dispenser is poorly designed. The problem here is that it’s an all-in-one unit, ice and water being dispensed from the same aperture. (Well, the ice dispenser is large diameter and the water dispenser is a small spigot on the rim of the ice dispenser.) How is this a problem? Well, many fridges have two separate dispensers adjacent to each other: one for the ice, and a separate one for the water. And in these fridges, you can usually push your cup or glass right up to the dispenser and get water without spillage. But in this Samsung, the spigot is in the front and the panel that you push is all the way at the back. So if you have a small glass (with a small diameter rim), there is a 100% chance that water will spill everywhere, which is what happened to me the first time I tried it. That doesn’t happen with a properly designed dispenser. My workaround has been to put small glasses on the shelf of the dispenser while I then use my other hand to push in the panel. Awkward, but it works. You also have to be very careful when the ice dispenser is used. A large-diameter receptacle is necessary, otherwise ice cubes cascade to the floor.
2) Secondly, much to my surprise, when it’s time to change the filter, you can’t just pop it out and insert a new one. Nope. You must instead turn the water supply off and then remove the old filter. If this isn’t done first, good luck getting the old filter out. That’s because the line is under pressure. So you now have to PULL OUT your new fridge from the wall, turn off the water supply valve going into the fridge, and then remove the old filter. As per the user’s manual. Why the Samsung engineers couldn’t, let’s say, design a water shut-off valve inside the fridge or better yet, design the filter such that you can easily swap it out with no turning the water off is beyond me. (And I have a neuro-muscular disease – not so easy to pull out the fridge, bend down and reach over to the other side to turn off the water supply. Guess I’ll have to get used to it.)
So I can’t recommend this refrigerator.

I purchase these when the space is a little tight in back and walking room. Counter depth is the way to go sometimes. Great fridge for the money. I used to pay 900 for these things, How times have changed.

Great refrigerator, just right size for our needs. Only thing is after using water dispenser, water continues to drip. Have to keep wiping up.

Like the counter depth and no handles. Nice sleek refrigerator.
Is a basic model and cannot adjust shelf height. Has no light where the water and ice comes out. Would be nicer with a small light there.
Overall works good the few weeks we have had it.

I really like this refrigerator. It has lots of room for all our food. The only thing we wish is that it held more ice it doesn't keep up with a family of 5.

Overall, a really good refrigerator. It fits counter depth pretty well. Just ensure that you don’t have any floor molding as it’s an exact fit. The fridge does a good job of cooling and the shelves are well organized. The two comments I have with regards to improvements is include a light in the water dispencer and the spout can be a little further inside because when you get water with a small cup it needs to be angled correctly so it doesn’t spill.

Overall love the fridge. Counter depth design adds space to room, but does take a little from capacity but we forget about things less because they aren’t pushed to the back. Design is modern and has a relatively good price point. I like it integrates with SmartThings. Overall quiet and good choice.
Room for improvement:
More shelves and a deli drawer. Shelves are static, which for the most part I like because you never have them at the right height anyways. Having some variation in height or allowing a deli drawer in an area where short things would be helpful
Dispenser - No catch for water, but rarely have an issue but crushed ice goes all over.
Bottom drawers waste space because they are too tall. Maybe reduce to 2/3rd the height.
SmartThings doesn’t show actual temp, just set temp but can set up automation to get notified if they go over (naming is weird though, so it might take a few times ton determine which to monitor).
I would buy again but still looking for a full size deli drawer and maybe an add a shelf.
